Booths, Settle

Visited around 5pm today, lovely shop, lovely experience as always. I always come to do my shopping here when visiting Settle. However my experience this evening was more exceptional than I could of anticipated. I called the store shortly before 21.30pm and my call was answered by a lovely man called John. I asked if there were any chargers in stock as I'd snapped my wire and was on holiday so had no spare. John went to check for me but there were non for my phone, he then very kindly proposed I went down to the store and he would give me his own personal charger as he had the same phone and spare chargers at home. I am honestly blown away by thr kindness and generosity received and cannot begin to thank him enough.

Two packets of salad leaves with a good forward date were inedible when I got them home. These were purchased on return from my holiday. It is a distance to travel from Ingleton to Settle to complain (and in so doing prevent other customers from having the same experience)
I accepted a refund, but it did not compensate my fuel, inconvenience and wasted time. Booths In Settle have lost my custom. I remember Booths when you paid high prices and got quality

Amazing selection of top drawer products. Fresh fish, Meat and Deli counters. Not the cheapest but faultless for quality.

A supermarket that feels more like your local corner shop. It's a welcoming place with fabulous produce, I've never been disappointed with the quality, and a decent range across all prices. The in house butchers and fishmonger are superb, and knowledgeable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a joy to visit.

A great supermarket - people tell me it's expensive but I've found it great value, with many offers and when you sign up for their loyalty card you get 'divi', just like the Co-op, paid out with coupons sent to your home. Plus online receipts so you can check your savings. friendly staff and a wide choice make it my choice.

Lovely food great shopping experience whilst on our lil weekend break lovely place lots of items for selection in each section. Fab place we have none of these back home. Fantastic place.

Visit booths when we are visiting the north. Always been fantastic. Do feel quality was down a bit on previous visits. We often come away with food for the freezer but hesitated this time. Might be my imagination but good a shop as it is, costs are rising and quality seems to be reducing. Still a great shop just less affordable.
