M&S Simply Food

Fine example of a Marks and Spencer. All the things you would normally expect are here. Good size food hall and most departments well represented.

This was lovely place to pop in to but now they've taken the tills away I've stopped using it. Last time I shopped here and paid by cash, I had to wait 10 minutes to use the only automated till that took cash. The staff spend all their time trying to help people to scan their goods as the scanners are awkward. Not very user friendly, Tescos and the Co-op give a much more pleasant shopping experience.

Good quality produce from M&S. Small store handy for a quick sandwich or grocery shop. Right next to Chelmsford Rail station so ideal. All the usual M&S food stuff without having to go to the main store.

Went in this morning....no bags at the self service, carry as you want.
Finally half of the items didn't even scan, ended up just getting sandwiches.
Just walked out, ate like half of sandwich and felt some stone like material in tuna & cucumber sandwich, checked it on my finger and it was some sort of clear bits, resembling glass.................................
Couldn't recommend more.

Terrible staff. Don’t say hello or thank you, keep an eye on self service and aren’t in the slightest bit professional.

A good place to find a M&S. Disbled access and nice staff.

It was one of the most best locations & bad news its closed. I want something to replace it that looks exactly like M&S with its logo but it won't be the same. There should be another Mack salon replacing it along with the other one Moulsham Street

Useful M&S for those last minute purchases before you jump on a train.

Store is always clean and tiny, but can get very busy during rush hour.
