Good location and had the essentials you will need day to day.
Bear in mind that it is a metro store so is not as big as your normal stores so will not have everything.
Staff or always helpful and there is always a member of staff out on the 'shop floor' to get some guidance of where an item would be.
Quite a few self service tills which is convenient but there is normally 2/3 manned tills that you can use as well if you want someone else to do that for you.

Very quiet (great for the shoppers that were in!!). Air-conditioning a little TOO cold? After a while I was physically shivering!! Otherwise good, no gaps in shelves or "out of stocks"!

The only good value food shop in the centre of Tunbridge Wells. Always go here rather than the small overpriced Sainsbury's opposite the station. It can get quite busy particularly on Sunday just before closing. Good selection considering the store is not that big.

Very bad experience. Staff not friendly, all the products in the store are all over the place , just very unorganised in general. There were a lot of products missing and I could not find what I was looking for . What a disappointment!!

Yobs sitting outside blocking the exit and nothing done by Tesco employees forcing me to have altercation with them.

Great little tescos in the centre of town handy for all the essentials and a last minute rush for something for dinner. Small-ish range due to store size but enough. Prices have recently gone up quite a lot. Staff are friendly and helpful always willing to answer any questions you may have

Used to love this store up until about 2 months ago. Then corporate head office changed it to a Tesco 'Express' store and the prices shot up 10-15% overnight. So it is now in the same bracket as the smaller ones along St John's Road & the A26 in Southborough. That's a great shame for a store with a much bigger footprint in the centre of town.

This will especially affect the older generation who walk from their flats or smaller houses in Tunbridge Wells and who rely on a fairly substantial shop for their groceries. Even the club card discounts are now not the same so you still pay more. Grrr
