Typical Tesco on a high street in very central London. Quite good to grab lunch during a busy day at work given the reasonable prices and the short waiting time. The staff members, also, are very polite and helpful if needed

I’ve been to this store 1 day ago, got my groceries to the till as usually and when I did the payment by card the till didn’t recognise the payment and made me do it again. Basically Tesco charged me twice. All right. I complained to the employees and they told me the money would be back in my account in 24hrs which did not happened. Once again I went to this store which by the way IT IS NOT CLOSE TO MY HOUSE to request my refund and the employees informed me that would take more 24hrs. This is absolutely ridiculous. Any other shop would refund my money straight away because ANY card machine is able to make or at least give me a voucher. On the website I also couldn’t find any contact a part from calling which I’m not able to once my phone number is not an UK number. Outrageous.

The machine was broken when I paid my bill and they ask me to pay again. I questioned immediately what if I have been charged already, they said there is no problem if you found anything just bring the receipt back and bank proof. They will refund me. The next day I came back with the credit card show double charge and the MANAGER GHAFOOR refused to refund me with BAD attitude and give a lot of excuses to postpone the process because I’m a traveler in London. The worst experience.

Wouldn't let me in at 10:52PM despite their closing time being 11:00PM. Not happy, will not go there again!
