Have to call staff to till for service or use the self service tills. The Sainsbury at the parade has better customer service.
Cleaner is running the scrubbing machine around at 9.00 am shouldn’t shop be clean before it opens
Checkouts are the worst! Never any bags
Never any staff when busy! Self service always one not working!
Give them some credit the store is pretty well stocked! When they re stock they seem to leave trolleys/cages in the way so it is very awkward to move about!
Bread that has that days date on! No reduced!!
Yes I will use the whole loaf today?
Accuse people of theft as systems don’t work properly.. can’t here products scan when scanned.. lady cashier needs to go on a customer service course.. or five...
Customer is always right!!!! THE RULE!! First lesson..
1. They have the best Croissants around.
2. The selection of articles is for the space available extremely diverse and good.
3. The opening times are VERY convenient. EVERY day from 7am-10pm is more than anybody can ask for.
If somebody wants to know why they have no alcohol, it is because the shop next door sells aclohol. So they blend into the structure and it makes sense.
Ham is a rather a residential area and if I can walk to a place for shopping, rather than having to go by car, then I do prefer walking. We do not have the luxury of having many shops here so we should be grateful for the ones we have.
So to you people giving one star, please why do you not work there for a week and make it perfect earning near to nothing. See how you will do.
With one star reviews and TESCO managers reading this, I run the risk that the place closes because of unrealistic reviews. ONE star - come on.
I am glad Tesco Express is in Ham and the silent majority will feel the same. It is so much easier to give a bad review than a good one.
I do admire the hard working staff as they really work a lot and still if you smile at them, they will smile back - give it a try.
The vast majority of the time the customer service is spot on, always helpful and smiley as much as their busy schedule allow them to smile as they are doing a lot!
A couple of days ago, I was there and what seems to be the store manager or manager area was there. So let me explain the scene first in the store working that day you had some asian gentlemen and one black man cleaning there.
It was peak time, manager (the only white man of the staff) was talking and treating the store employee and clients in a unbelievably rude way. I mean whatever stress he has he is not the one facing clients all day long so making them looking stupid in front of clients for a wage close to peanuts is not my understanding of good management.
Telling me, the clients, to go away as they are cleaning is not my understanding of good customer service and good management. Noone that are permanently working in that store has ever act that way toward me.
I personaly really do appreciate the people working there and did not enjoy witnessing such an arrogant attitude from the store manager.
Good business comes with good respect towards your employee, Tesco you need them as much as you need us!
Go to M&S a bit upper on the perpendicular street it is neat, excellent staff, choice and doesn’t look like an half empty sad warehouse
More expensive than larger Tesco superstores.
