Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! The shop doesn’t even deserve one star!
Rude members of staff! Unreasonable queues! This is due to the fact that the shop has imaginary basket and trolley queues! The word ONLY is missing, so it’s not written “Basket or Trolley only”! If you don’t queue at the right queue, the member of the staff has all rights to assault you and scream at you. Very rude staff!
I bought only two items, I didn’t find “hands only queue”, so been assaulted by a very rude member of the staff, because I queued at the trolley queue. I have been told that if I only had a trolley(with 2 items inside) I had the right to pay there, but because I don’t, I should go and queue somewhere else!
I suggest at the entrance Asda provides you with their instructions manual, so as a customer you know how to shop, because the shop created rules that don’t exist anywhere else! Horrible service and shop!

Good shop just location is not too great. The car park is ok but payment machines are total rubbish not taking card and on the day not taking coins or notes either ...so was not fun. Thankfully to human being they came to help with this faulty machine. Walking to that shop from Romford high street where other car park are located is not great. But the shop itself was good with some good offers.

Good range of products. There have been so many price increases recently that I am often overcharged when shopping here. I often feel uncomfortable shopping here due to the one way barriers, overzealous security guards and self checkout assistants that need to learn not to treat every customer as a potential thief.

Security guard not doing his job.
Alarms were going off, he didn't even check peoples shopping.
He gave 3 different people a thumbs up as they set off the alarms when they left!!
3 times in the space of waiting for my daughter to use the cash machine

I have been shopping in this store for years and always find what I wanted and more but I'm reluctant to go there now as there are no trolley. This has been the case since lockdown. The trolleys have all literally disappeared. I sometimes have to walk round the whole car park looking for a trolley. I'm most of the time forced to go and get the rest of my shopping somewhere else as I'm not able to carry everything I wanted in the asda basket.
And when you eventually find one you can't even find the right chain to lock it back and get your coin out because all the trolley lock chains are broken. It's just ridiculous going through this in such a big shop. Asda, what's happening? It is that you guys don't know you have run out out trolleys to stock new ones?

Shop is great but impossible to find a trolley especially Saturdays even if you search the car park. Therefore forced to only buy what can fit in a basket. If it doesn't improve will have to go elsewhere

I'm not really impressed at fresh meats. They had poor dates. The checkout is self-service, and on countless occasions whilst scanning my item's it kept saying that i need assistance to continue. How frustrating so I won't be doing a weekly shop at asda again.

Consistently bad customer service. Parking is awful and often double charges as machines are broken. Click and collect is so slow, it’s quicker to pick-up items from the shelves yourself. Avoid if you can and go to Sainsburys! Or anywhere else…
