I have to give the store 5 stars based on its bakery. Very tasty pastries, probably the best I've had in West London. Very consistent in it's high quality also. Keep it up !

There used to be a time when M&S was the back bone of your wardrobe. Sock / underwear and good quality shirts / suits.
It is gone - now you have a company with a range of merchandise that tries to compete with low brand chains like Primark. When i look through the clothes theres a theme of skinny jeans /skinny suits and tacky quality material seems to be prevalent.
They seem to aim for the younger market. Sorry but my 20 something daughter refused to enter the store.
They used to have great lines like the Saville Row suit brand. That seems to be gone. Jeager is in, But not the Jeager I remember when i walked into on Regent Street. This range of Jeager seems to be aimed at the younger cooler dudes wanting skinny tight clothes. Unfortunately all of the people I saw walking around the store would never be able to get into skinny trousers.
What I did see was the traditional customer - 40-70 normal to overweight / reasonably wealthy - wanting quality.
So whats the upside of M&S. Its a store. In an era of on line shopping when you buy everything on-line buying clothes for older people odd shaped people is one of the few reasons left to go into a shop.
But they have limited changing rooms in Marble arch and the changing rooms in local branches close by 6pm. If I cant try the clothes then whats the point.
In summary - your range is very disappointing. Dont waste time trying to attract the youth market. Focus on protecting your main customers 40 -65 who want traditional quality and access to changing rooms.

I do feel sorry for the staff because they are still lovely and very helpful. Its the management and merchandisers who need to in my opinion get their act together.

Shockingly poor quality. Trousers I bought from Tesco's lasted me 3 years. Similar pair from M&S? - 3 months. Staff polite, but not even appologetic. I will never buy anything from M&S again. Extremely dissapointing. £30 down the drain.

Food hall was busy, quality goods for men and women in the clothes store. Plenty of choice for both to choose from, and staff very friendly.

The foodhall is good because you don’t have to speak to anyone.

If you do need to speak to a member of staff, I would suggest you go to a different store. Whenever I have spoken to staff I am given contradictory information - mainly in the clothes section.
