Sainsbury's Local

I buy from this Sainsbury every morning my food for the day and I start work at 7am. I had to say I had some bad experiences with one guy in particular. Sometimes when a manager is not in time there, they will not open the shop and the most upsetting is when a guy quite tall, reddish hair, looks at the clients through the window and simply ignores them. I was fuming one morning, waiting to open and he did not even made and effort to come to us at the door and say he cannot open until a manager is on the site. He was staring at us and was chatting with his colleagues. That day i was late for work because of him. That morning when he opened the door finally I told him he should have let us know so that we do not wait like idiots outside. Other guys when open the doors say a nice good morning, when he opens the door he turns quickly with the back and goes away saying nothing, because he didn't like when I told him why ignoring clients. There is one manager there very polite, bold white bloke, he is amazing. He let me go once when i didn't have enough to pay for my shopping with £0.70 and he said he knows me as I am a regular client and I should bring next time the money. I was so impressed!!! Also I think If they are keen to open at 7:00 exactly, they should be keen to have ready the pastries as well. They are never ready but they like keeping you waiting. That's all I had to say.

Small Sainsbury's with a decent range of items. There's a bakery section, too, so you could easily use this for a quick meal or day shop. There's also the basics you'd need around the house (for cleaning, etc). Not a large number of staff and the self checkout machines often act up.

Tiny supermarket with fair selection. Good if you need to get something quickly and can't run to the huge Tesco superstore just 7 minutes away. The self checkout machine malfunctions occasionally. I just get pastries here from time to time.

Good sized Sainsbury's local on the corner of North End Road and North End Crescent. Decent range of items available here including a small bakery section.

this branch needs more hygiene and covering bread and sweets.

Very u helpful generally. Limited stock and every time I visit they are missing stock and also they don’t know where the stock is either so I’ve been turned away twice and managed to locate the products myself. Also extremely! bad queue management

Small but well stocked. Pleasant and helpful staff

It's so neat and clean, it looks like the store just opened. Very easy to shop here without wasting time. I wanted a few special items without traipsing through a huge supermarket, and some were even on special offer. The staff are friendly, too. Wish my local was as nice!
