They say one price on the shelves but try to charge £2 extra at the till, should have been 2 for £7, they tried to charge me £9, so I had to go back and get something else instead.

I arrived at the store on my motorcycle complete with tank bag luggage and tail bag.
I spent over £130.00 as I was trying to load up my bike a Ratty little security Guard followed me out from behind his little box saying that I had set off an alarm.
Lies, no alarm was set off.
I showed him my receipt. he looked at it then walked away without any apology safe in the knowledge that the CCTV kept my foot a safe distance from his family jewels.

A very rude & unprofessional security person by ASDA. He was rude in Pandemics but was fine, but this time he misbehaved with 10 & 12-year-old children that panicked. I did not call the police. Otherwise, I had the right to call as children still panic. This incident happened tonight, 22nd August 2022, at 21:40.
Note: A small item was broken by a child. I spoke politely with the manager about the damage, but the security person misbehaved with the child.
Totally disappointed, such as a big company hiring an unprofessional security person.

Today, my sister 15, my friend 19 and i 18 went to Asda. As we entered, a security guard pulled us over and stopped us, telling us that my friend and I could enter but not my sister. I requested that she come in with us because I'm her sister and she’s young because I don't want to leave her in the streets, but he refused and began yelling at us, furthermore demanding we tell him what we was going to buy. I politely asked him if she could at least wait with him at the security desk while I ran inside. He said that she couldn't and told me to go to another store. I tried to explain that although there was a ban on school children, they may enter with an adult who was at least 18 years old. we then left as the security guard made us feel really uncomfortable. After about ten minutes, we returned to the shop to speak with the management about him since he was speaking to us in a loud, hostile manner. One of the managers approached my sister and I shortly after I had finished talking to the manager, the security guard came back trying to intimidate us and preventing me from explaining our side. I told him I didn't feel comfortable talking to him and requested him to leave me alone, and he complied. After hearing this, my mother came and spoke to two different managers, explaining that he should never have spoken to children in such a harsh and aggressive manner and that he needs to be properly trained. One of the managers then led us back to speak with him. But he was treating my mother badly, intimidating her, and generally being an arse to her. When we went to talk to a different management, he was calling for police and claimed that my mother had said she was going to arrest him (she works in a prison), so we informed the manager that he had lied as she was there with us and saw herself my mother didn’t say that. the mangers apologised for his behaviour and said it will be sorted. we recorded the whole encounter as he was being very aggressive however, this security has been rude to multiple customers and generally makes so many problems. i have seen so many complains and a lot of people i know all have said the same thing.
he should get the sack he has no compassion he doesn’t know how to handle certain situations he is very rude to everyone. he should never of asked me what i was going to buy as it is rude and could of been personal. he also said that you have to come asda with a parent like a mum or a dad which is wrong as not everyone had a parent. He should have asked to see some form of id and not just assume we was lying and telling us to leave. as a security guard he should learn to be more respectful
the mangers were very nice and helped the situation though.
i have gone to that asda my whole life and i’ve never had a bad experience with anyone other than that security guard.

Only 2 hours parking now if u like shopping at Asda’s looking at what they have on offer like they famous brand George clothing and entertainment centre as well food shopping then 2 hours was not enough for me and was close to getting a ticket fine. I did make my point to one of the managers their however he was not helpful or buying my complaint
And said was not up to him it’s up to the parking fine company but wait it’s asada’s land anyway yet if you go to the asada in Leyton it’s 3 hours
Their for I told him goodbye and I never ever will shop in Southgate asada again
If they were more professional they would of make it like if you shop at Asada when leaving just enter your number plate in that way people who park and take the mick by going elsewhere would think twice about parking
Shame of course the pricing is very competitive compare to Sainsbury’s round the corner in Winchmore Hill and that too has a 3hour shopping time parking

Last week I bought 2 tins of kimchi and the 10% cash pot rewards did not appear in my Asda rewards app. Now have no confidence in using the new rewards scheme. On the same shopping occasion the 3 ready meals deal for £7, as labelled up on the shelves, ended up costing £7.50 which I only discovered when I got home and looked at the receipt. I don’t mind so much but times are hard and some people will be accounting for every penny they spend. It’s disappointing that such a large well known supermarket would take advantage of their customers in such a way, whether intentional or not. I have notified the managers in store in the past about similar problems and they do rectify issues but am still finding that it is still happening. PS. M&S do a 3 ready meal deal for £8, not sure whether a 50p difference between Asda and M&S would now make me continue to shop at Asda.

I've noticed the music they play in Southgate ASDA is always loud and dancey, which makes shopping there stressful and unpleasant.
It would be nice if they turned the volume down and played calmer music instead like they do in the Morrisons, Sainsburys and M&S stores in the area.
