This is the branch in earl's court SW5 wonderful customer service. Mannan and Julia very helpful in the aisles and Raj always friendly and helpful at the tills. Food is quite expensive but they do occasional good deals. Nice people. I visit this store quite a lot and they now have more very helpful staff, sherife is always charming and honestly looks pleased to see customers.

One of my daughters and I went into the M&S location on 200 block of Earls Court Road London late on the night we arrived in London, after a very long day of travel. Not realizing the time, we had some items we needed and the lights dimmed. We went to the cash out and the self-checkout was different than home (Alberta Canada) and we were very tired. SHERIFE helped us scan the items and pack them in bags telling us not to worry about the time, she was happy to help us. She made our day with her kindness and assistance. She remembered us the following day as well and gave us a welcoming smile and a hello. Great place to shop, very welcoming and warm.

Good! Very good! Found everything we wanted and paid using the self-service tills. Bit of searching for specific items but we got there.

Always like an M&S Foodhall. Not cheap but good with an interesting range of products including bakery and a good choice of wines & drinks.

Busy!!! Well supported locally in this fairly affluent part of London

I love M&S but hate this branch immensely. The aisles (or more accurately, aisle) are tiny. All tills are self service and only 2 accept cash payments. This leads to huge queues at peak times. Staff are miserable, rude, treat you like an inconvenience and seem to struggle to speak English. Looking at the bakery or food to go for example is impossible because the two are crammed opposite each other, and then the queue to pay gets in the way further. Looking at things such as crisps and sweets is also impossible because they are in a corner blocked by the queueing area. Product availability is always terrible, I hardly ever actually manage to get anything I want. The place is a mess with green trays and rubbish taking up what little space remains, bags all over the floor. I visited at 8pm this evening thinking it would be quiet, but instead I quickly left after seeing huge gaps in many of the fridges, then noticing the gigantic 20-deep queue at the self service. Awful place!

M&S Foodhall supplied us with all the snacks we needed during our eight days in London. We stayed in a hotel just down the road and found everything we needed here, especially sweets and beer.

So sad. But I have to agree with everything the previous reviewer has said. Staff morale in this store is at an all time low. No-one seems to be interested in customers any more (except Adam and one other English lady). The new till system means that there is a long queue of people getting ever more irate because they want to pay cash. The staff push past you without a word of apology and when you want to buy a banana - shock horror - you are told, in a perfunctory manner, that 'You are at the wrong till'. And no unsliced bread any more (to speed up the staleing process, I assume). I am now 12 minutes into their awful 'Customer service' line and no answer, only someone with a very faint grasp of spoken English putting me on hold. Avoid!

No doubt M&S always good to go.
What makes this food hall so special is the staff here - professional, friendly and kind-hearted.
For people who find difficult to walk, they bring a chair for them to sit and collect products for them. Really appreciate that.
