Tesco Express

Very pleasant and helpful staff, sometimes seems to run out of stock, the store is perhaps smaller than is desirable, but presumably parking logistics were against making this a bigger concern. Does genuinely feel like a local store that the staff identify with & are proud of.

This is a good little supermarket. There is a good range of products, prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. It is also only a short walk from home. If you come by car there are a few parking spaces at the back.

Do you want to buy half and half ketchup and mayonnaise? How about three different types of risotto rice and red lentil penne pasta? How about tinned jackfruit in water? This is the shop for you! Do you want yeast? Do you want macaroni? Any sort of dried pasta? This shop is completely infuriating for cuboard staples but excellent for items you want to give to a haverst festival stall of people you dislike. I’d really like to meet the buyer for this store, look them in the eye and ask: “who hurt you?” And also “who do you think lives in this area? This area full of the boring and unadventurous white middle class? None of these people are buying thick udon noodles, I promise you.”

Last Sunday in the morning time the lady who should have opening the door and let the customers in.... she payed more attention for her mobile phone and texting rather then opening the doors. We were queuing up already when she realised. It was not too nice.

I really like the staff, and the product range. I really enjoy having loads of choice of random and sometimes niche things...alongside all the basics. Their conduct during the pandemic was spot on with the traffic lights etc, unlike the co-op down the road. The parking is rubbish though.

Very convenient and good opening hours.
A shame the special deals seem reserved for Clubcard holders...

Been going to this Tesco for nearly a year and the staff seem to be getting more rude as time goes on . Security guard seems pleasant and some staff are nice but the majority need to take a course on customer service!!! What angers me more is my son who has been recently popping to the shop and feels very uncomfortable when served as not very pleasant to him neither most times. Overall a not very nice place to shop !!

Staff blocked all the parking area and disabled parking too. You risk a £50 parking fine if you try to shop.

People park in disabled bay in frustration...
