Waitrose & Partners Worthing

Fantastic large store with ample parking, free for 2hrs, & a lovely cafe that makes delicious drinks & has a limited range of extremely appealing looking food.

I went to the customer services desk, the tills after shopping to purchase my food & wine, then into the cafe, & everybody that served me gave me a genuine happy smile, therefore great place to be & for a Wednesday, everything I needed was in stock, also because the store is large, they had a great range of everything you could possibly need.

The staff in here are wonderful. I was having a mini crisis one day and the kindness and compassion they showed me was exceptional. I'm now a loyal customer for life!

Brilliant store, fresh produce, very helpful staff. One of the few supermarkets left that have meat and fish counters and staff that actually know their stuff with such. Only irk for me is despite having cameras and apparent enforcement for parking, you still get people parking and then going off into town to avoid parking fees which means car parking can be tight at times.

After years of satisfaction I am getting more and more disappointed, goods keep on mouving around , some of the staff are not as delightful as they used to be , and 2 days ago I bought a bag of potatoes in a paper bag which when opened turned up to be mostly green and the one I cooked
after deep peeling, was uneateable. Upon returning them I had to call the manager who accepted to give me double refund which I insisted upon out of principle. Then I looked for replacement. Some potatoes in plastic bags were green and even a few amongst the loose potatoes. I also purchased an aubergine which was partly rotten, my fault for not looking, but In Waitrose I never used to have to check carefully previously!
What is happening?

Simply put, this store is fantastic. I feel welcomed by the staff and the products are second to none and at a completely different level compared to the competition. There is NOTHING that isn't great.

And then there's the cheese-, fresh fish- and meat counters. The quality and service here raises the bar skyhigh above great.

What a supermarket.

Always helpful and friendly staff. The store is clean and tidy. Great to have a mini Boots in the corner too. I had my flu jab and then picked up some shopping at the same time 😁 The cheese deli is a must visit. The lady was so smiley it made my day!

A good sized Waitrose with adequate parking. The store layout is pretty standard with most items easy to find. My one criticism is there could be more checkouts open for shoppers to avoid excessive queuing.
