Iceland Supermarket Durham City

Worst store in Durham for customer service, always have to wait in a long line to get to checkout, why? Because there is only one checkout operating at the peak time when people are leaving work and having to get a bus home, No Time For Waiting !!
I have left my shopping there many times, buses DON'T WAIT!
Get it sorted Iceland!!!

Fast and convinience place for frozen groceries and daily needs. Frozen fish and vegetables are very reasonably priced, and they sell milkshake monkey milk that can't be found anywhere else. Come regularly for those 3 items

Place is cramped at the entrance making it difficult to pass customers, as for selection of products, its limited since being a small Iceland and staff are friendly.

Prices are another, forgot to mention, went up in price along with a few deals being changed, overall though Icelands is still a good place to shop, just these smaller shops are making it difficult to walk around without stumbling into something or someone, please with smaller Icelands, you think that you'd remove the obstructions in 1 person sized aisles? When you make it small they become trip hazards for those passing, even dangerous.

Overall though 2 stars - smaller stores using the same techniques as bigger stores, limited products and busy ques from time to time, would give it 3 stars, however however this Iceland, only 2 stars, feels neglected and needs a bit of a renovation or be moved elsewhere to provide better business and gains.

Iceland always has a selection of chilled and frozen items worth browsing. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

Great store to tax from😂 they don't have the beep things at the doors so you can just put things in your bag and walk out and you don't even get caught unless the actually see you. Bit when I went there with 2 of my mates last time I went we only went in there because the police were chasing us cos we left school. They didn't catch is though cos there was only 1 officer for the 3 of us so my mate went to the door and told us when we could rum out as the officer came inside the shop.

Nice friendly girls on till. But misrable hungover male staff when I attended. Looked scruffy. When I asked for a product he was not interested and grunted. His uniform looked like he was homeless.

Nice and helpful staff, shop clean and tidy ,unfortunately the bread was green molded even though it had a good sell by date

They miscalculated the price of the items in my cart and I pointed out this but they did not acknowledge the miscalculation at all. I finally had to pay much money for the items than the actual price. You should not use this shop or you will unnecessarily lost your money.
