Tesco Superstore

Nice 'little' tesco store stocking all the basics and more. It's not as big and doesn't have quite as many departments as an extra but for a superstore it's well stocked. The only problem I had with the store (and the reason for only 3 star) is the staff. Non are very helpful or happy, online shoppers taking up whole aisles and barging in front of customer's, and the reception we got at the customer service desk was despicable from a manager, just because we the customer's wanted to collect a direct parcel we did not deserve the tut, the eye rolling, the bluntness and the rudeness! Even if we did interrupt you from pruning your hair in your phone camera!

Friendly staff in sufficient numbers but the car park is a death trap in the winter. Tesco do not grit the carp park whatsoever so the ground becomes solid ice. A real danger to customers, especially the growing number of elderly in the town.

A typical Tesco Superstore but with staff who are obviously highly motivated and happy in their jobs in that the ones i meet always smile & most remember my name. Even though it's smaller than Readings Tesco Extra, I've never seen any empty shelves yet and we always manage to complete our shop. Some new self serve tills have just been added. There is a clothes bank in the very large car park.

i use the drive in to get my groceries at the moment and i have never seen so many plastic bags. Sometimes there is only 1 product per bag. It is chocking when everyone tries to do his bit to recycle.
You get your products in cardboard boxes, why don't you reuse them instead of plastic bags ? Why can't we come with bags in the boot and you/we put the products in ? Please try to find an alternative.

Generally quite good, clean, well stocked, with helpful staff. It is irritating that some common items just disappear. There has been no Tesco Thick Cut marmalade for over 3 weeks, and this week there were no bacon lardons or Dove soaps.

Well stocked Tesco with all the usual stuff. Plenty of parking available but it sometimes feels it’s small for the area. There’s a car wash as well in case you wish to get that done ..

Rarely has what I want, everytime I use the self scan system, it always does a security check therefore negating the 'only I touch' thing for covid and timesaving feature.
I only use the tills now
At least someone will then think I'm not trying to steal

Since September 2021 food prices have rocketed in all Tesco super stores,used to be cheaper than Tesco express but prices are slowly creeping up to super store prices,most items are up easily by 20% and 25% or more on some items ,Tesco’s have been milking us the public with higher prices since 2021 Lidel and Aldi are still good value for money .
