Large Waitrose supermarket near Tower of London. As you'd expect, it's very pricey but if you turn up at the right time and have a good eye for deals / reduced, then you can get by okay. Lots of choice, given size. Staff are helpful.

Nipped in for dog waste bags in a moment of desperation, passed a few employees who welcomed me into the store. After finding what I needed in a few seconds, a blonde woman stood at the end of the aisle pointing to the exit, and announced I needed to leave. I asked if I could get what I needed, only for her to silently reiterate her pointed finger. While I understand that there are policies, this situation left me bereft and upset at how it was handled because it is clearly signposted that this shop is assistance dog friendly. There was no way to explain if the dog has any assistance capacities, as the employees had no compassion. If you have an assistance animal, avoid this location.

Overall I've had good experience shopping here. The only thing is there's this blonde lady (she's around quite often and has this pony tail, looks angry all the time) who shouted at us one day for leaving the store too late once - we didn't know about the time. It wasn't a problem really, but we saw her one day throwing an empty wine bottle out of her car window on the street after work and drove away. I hope she didn't have that bottle of wine before driving.
If you see this review, you know what you did. Whatever issues you have please try to manage it. Having wine bottles in your car is never a good idea.

Excellent, large Waitrose with some very good deli counters. Customer parking is also available.

Quick shout-out to the very helpful staff. I managed to leave my phone in there. The staff found it, handed it to customer services who returned it to me. Excellent.

This branch of Waitrose has declined, stock levels atrocious at times, lifts always failing etc. Till staff are lovely, big shout out to Marion, but queuing can be bad at times. Trolleys now banned from self service tills, but rarely enough manned tills open to cope. I still use Waitrose for convenience, but drive to Asda Isle of Dogs more regularly than I used to and find better quality fresh food (which surprised me). When the new Sainsbury on Wapping Lane opens I may well be giving Waitrose a miss entirely which would be a shame as I know and like a lot of the staff there.

I went in to collect an order from John Lewis. The lady member of staff on the click and collect counter was very unfriendly. I had a heavy bag of shopping that I had bought in this shop before collecting my parcel.
I asked if she had a carrier bag I could buy as I was going home on public transport. She just said “no” and then added the parcels normally have their own carrying handles but this didn’t. She then thrust the parcel at me and walked away.
So rude, I am an elderly lady and just asked for a little help to save going back to the tills.
I won’t be returning to this store ever again!!

Discrimination towards disabled people,
Toilets are rotten and stink and very dirty, women came over shouting because I was rinsing my mums cup out at the free coffee machine telling me to stop that, I told her I am cleaning a this cup out, she was very concerned I was getting another free coffee, seeing that we had got two lots of shopping I could of got another one but I'm not fan of there free coffee, any way customer service have said anyone with a free coffee are not allowed to sit in the coffee area, so even if your are really disabled and can't stand up you are not to sit down in waitrose with your free coffee no matter how disabled you are, I think this waitrose and customer service at head office should be reported

service have said no
