Tesco Extra

Good place to shop , I really like there croissants specially chocolate one. They have meal deal which is quite good. If I am hungry and not in mood to cook I always go with meal deal. They also have noodles deal in which they provide a stir fry noodles and vegetables with some stir Fry sauce.

In recent weeks till service has been poor. Queues are getting longer. A lot of elderly people have to stand and wait for service. My mother waited 25 minutes today to get to the till. There were just 3 tills open and no more staff to operate them despite queues of around 8 waiting for each till.
This is disgusting!! Many people, myself included, find it difficult to stand for long periods of time.
We will ultimately end up going to other stores that have better service.
Not everyone wants to use automated machines to scan and pay for their shopping. Tesco, get your priorities right. Decent customer service... Not just profits!!!

I usually go for a big shopping once a week , at night after a 10-12 hrs shift at work and sometimes with my 2 year old daughter or 1 year old nephew.
After one hour of struggling to walk through the aisle with a stroller or a trolley because of the staff restocking and not even bothering to move out the way or even look at me , I go to checkout where most of the staff are rude/missing or inpatient.
Well today went beyond that. The till we were on was closing after us and we had to do two separate transactions. Halfway through putting my products on the belt, a lady called Alia came to us saying we need to put everything on the belt. There were two customer still in front of us , so there was no more room and we were waiting for the belt to move forward. We told her that and with the most arrogance she repeated that she needs to close the barrier behind us. Keep in mind we were 3 adults, a one year old child in the stroller and the trolley. There was physically no space to move. We almost finish putting everything on and she PUSHED MY MOTHER with the barrier while closing it!!! How disgusting is that??? I spoke to a manager who said will speak to her , but I don’t believe it.

Always good place for groceries, plenty parking, great fresh produce at reasonable prices, variety of choices. Sometimes it's not stocked well enough on certain items like milk 6 pints. Overall my favourite go to shop. Earn clubcard points on your shopping and save using coupons.

Well stocked for most items, only a few out of stock that I can go without. Good to see cheaper prices for popular items. Nice to be able to get some treats for Christmas without breaking the bank.

Recently visited a Tesco Express in Leicester and it made me appreciate Crawley's version so much more. Firstly it's cleaner, warmer and they have a better selection and secondly and most importantly it's a LONG way from Leicester.

I go here every month and it has a wide variety of items and is always clean. However, the parcel locker outside is always full and the queues are too long, especially at busy times.

I'm always pleased with this store, having to go food shopping or house shopping can be boring or hard work when finding what you need, this store has a easy feel to it and if you can't find it, you'll always be able to find someone who works that, that are dull of tools to help you find the product you are looking for.
