Booths, Milnthorpe

Lovely old fashioned supermarket. It's more like a Waitrose than a Aldi. This means the prices are high but the service is amazing and the products are top quality.

Reasonably late opening hours saved our bacon while visiting the town during the trip.

Good selection of fresh groceries and a plethora of local produce, including craft beer and spirits.

Worth a visit of you are after a quick shopping. Parking seems large enough to cope even with the rush hour traffic.

A smaller but new(ish) Booths store. Parking is used by the village but you get the cost off your Booths shopping if you spend over £5. Store is nicely laid out, haven't been yet when there's been a queue for anything. Has a reputation for being expensive but there's always multi-buy deals.

Booths, Milnthorpe, in my experience, has always been a tidy and organised store that is well lit.

Unlike bigger stores, this Booths has retained it's fresh food counters.

A very mixed experience visiting this Booths for lunch whilst working in the area. Mainly visited the hot counter. Some staff pleasant and efficient. Others miserable, unhelpful bordering on rude. It's not an easy job but then neither is mine so let's all try to be a bit jolly!

Booths is just like an upmarket Waitrose. The Milnthorpe brach have a particularly friendly and cooperative nature - especially the lady that is often greeting customers outside as she passes them a prepared trolly.

The fresh produce is always a cut above competitors.
