Sainsbury's

Small supermarket in the centre of town. Handy if you need to pick up some essentials while you're doing shopping, especially if parked in the Westgate car park. Range is limited compared to the larger supermarkets further outside of the centre.

I have to use a mobility scooter to get my shopping and because of that I don't use this shop often there are pillars which are there to hold the upper floors up which causes some problems to scooter users. The staff are very helpful and the kiosk has a wide area for the scooter to get through but, is a bit close on the exit which makes it a 2 point turn to get out.

Security guard is a little nuts. She is tiny and charges around the shop walking up to working class people, or anyone in tracksuit bottoms telling them to leave. She shouted at my friend randomly in the Isle and said he "looked like the type to steal" she told him to leave again and again, she looked like she was on something like coke, he left the shop as she was becoming abusive, and she came back to find me! Started nagging me asking lots of strange personal questions about him and she said "I don't like white working class people" which I thought was also strange, I told her to go away and said she needed therapy and spoke to her colleagues, I am genuinely concerned for this woman, she seemed like she was having an episode. Her colleagues apologised and said they don't know what to do she's been like this all day...weird

Good selection and prices, but self checkout had no change...and didn't tell me beforehand... Assistant was at a loss as to how to fix it and I had to walk away without my change! Didn't tell me until after the receipt was printed either. Not acceptable from Sainsburys...

Really nice store, very open and spacious with friendly, helpful staff. There is a large selection of items on offer and they almost always have everything that you need! Would strongly reccomend this place, always enjoy shopping here.

A little Sainsbury, there is more or less everything inside, not a lot of choice, but some bakery items, as well as some pizza. Quite handy when you need something in a hurry, or you are in the middle of a shopping spree and you don't wanna stop somewere expensive

I wish I could give it a worse rating, my son was racially profiled on the night of Wednesday 18th of January at around 7:30 pm after buying some candy and some pretzels. A male and a female staff member with red hair stood at the exit and forced him to empty his pockets. They said they saw him put something in his pockets but when he proved he had not they did not even apologise. Thankfully the security guard expressed remorse but I am furious. Never returning

If you are going to take deliveroo orders at least make sure you put the items that are on the list in the bag. Constantly forgetting the cigarettes I’ve ordered. Wasting time and money for me. Get it together.
