Having been morally forced to change my local supermarket which was Tesco across the road over to Lidl for convenience for standing by my morals when it comes to outrageous bullying brutal removal witnessed over their by an older bald guard (description of guard only put on as the morning guard thete is great at his job and I'd hate anyone to confuse the two) I have for the last 2 weeks been shopping in this amazing store, OK there isn't as much choice as the opposition have but the staff and management courtesy is amazing and the guard there a chap called Mike is absolutely superb , I've watched him working I've even gone so far as to sound him out on his practise at the store when faced with different scenarios and can only praise his approach his happy demeanour with all customers and he goes over and above the duties he carries out, well done Lidl Castle street, you have a new loyal customer who feels safe shopping in your store, a huge well done to all staff including the security which left me traumatised across the road

Brilliant, better than my local Lidl in Germany. Nice mix of familiar German products and the good old english products. Veg are fresh and plenty of choice

Hate the ANPR parking system that is poorly advertised. I was close to walking out without scanning my receipt had to ask staff what the parking thing at checkouts means. Lidl just stop!! Love your food and pricing, hate the parking.

I've been shopping at Lidl for over 10yrs and I've never been disappointed. The new rewards app is easy to use and I've saved a lot since the came out. The middle Isle every Thursday is great! The electrical items are such great value and come with 3yrs warranty and half the price of branded products. 👍👍

I had the privilege of observing Scott on the checkout last night as he supported a customer. Such kindness and compassion shown, he certainly went the extra mile. Great store, well stocked with so many tempting Christmassy products.

I always shop here, but recently standards have dropped: sprouts were very poor indeed and why do they not sell Batts Tomato ketchup anymore? Should I try Aldi?
