OK, I shop in alot or our beloved Sainsbugs stores in the UK.
I decided to use this store tonight as I do love Sainsbury's.
I did want meat tonight but the meat fridges were empty as they were broken.
So I made my choices & moved on.
Then I found the security man who must have been watching me on the secret screen stood behind me for no apparent reason.
So seeing I have been working outside in this heat all day long at work with no air conditioning I decided to enjoy the air con for a lot longer than I usually would & when I was ready to move on I did.
When I decide to move or leave the store won't be because a guard is stood behind me!
I do spend a lot of time shopping & usually enjoying the experience.

I used to do my weekly shop here but now, if you're on a budget at all it's simply not the place for you. There are essentially zero affordable products. They've shut the fish and deli counters so you cannot ask for small amount of anything to suit your need. Obviously they aren't interested in the amount of food the nation wastes then by over buying.
Then there's the till situation. There are never enough tills on. You have to queue for ages to actually get served off someone, meanwhile all your frozen and chilled food is going warm. I've had enough of the place altogether. Avoid.

The milk cartons leak!
This has happened so offen now, I squeeze the carton before leaving the store as it's such a regular accurance.
I have recently made the choice to stop buying milk there because of this!
My partner through I was making a fuss: now she has chosen to stop buying thier milk as she's become iterated having to clean out the leaked milk in the fridge.

Update:

We've been back to grab some milk (against my better judgement) a convenient thing, and would you believe it...

I enjoy shopping at Sainsbury’s as their Scan and Shop is so quick and easy. It’s easy to keep track of prices as you go along, and many things are on special prices from having a nectar card. I accrue Nectar points really quickly this way!

A section of the fence around the outside of the store has blown down several weeks ago. It is covering the pavement and preventing access for anyone in a mobility scooter. My wife had to turn the scooter around and drive all the way back to the end of the road to access a dropped kerb to get around. You need to get this sorted!

Like the convenience of click and collect. Very easy pick up and nice staff. Only one item substituted. But when unpacking, most of fresh items had short use by dates (2days).
Also why is sainsburys petrol 4p more a litre than the BP petrol station around the corner.
So please be aware.

We did our Christmas Shopping on 23rd December. Got to the store about 7:20am and it was busy then. They only down side is THEY the Management shut down the cafe. It was an extremely cold morning and a hot drink would have been a great. I work for the local authority & they are UNDER HUGE FINANCE PRESSURE, but we still have a cafe at our main head office. I hope management at Sainsbury sleep well at night by taking away the cafe in Sainsbury Arnold 🤦‍♀️👿🤯💯

Staff that are rude shouldn't be allowed to work on the tills. Being told to wait while she serves other people that had asked for help after me and then still ignoring me when she'd served everyone else telling me her private text from her husband was more important. And then telling me I was rude what the hel did she expect. Be lucky I was in a rush otherwise I'd have took that conversation straight to management.
