Sainsbury's

Building is a shambles. Lifts always out of order. Leaks in the shop and car park. Parts of the aisles closed off regularly due to leaks. Suffers from a lot of customers that believe their cars are more important than disabled people or parents with babies or small children. One particular jaguar owner insults you if you tell him he's parked in the wrong spot.

This shop lacks the excellence you expect from Sainsbury's store. The lifts are frequently out of order , the garage floor by the lifts wet. Shelves are often empty. The security at the shop exit is non existent. Staff however are helpful and efficient.

Very pleasant warm hearted, smiling Lady helped me find non smoking tabs..and also took the time to help find my premier Inn using her phone as I'd gotten myself lost !! ( not from the area) Unfortunately I didn't get her name when I returned with flowers to say thank you !!

You can usually get bare essentials here and it's good that it has an Argos. However, cafe closed and lacking a hot food counter doing rotisserie chicken etc, bakery also rather small. Wouldn't go out of my way to shop here, only as I work around the corner. For a town this size it needs to offer more choice. Update: stopped going, getting worse.

As a manager myself, I find it disgusting that the colleagues are told to face up and rotate stock up to 3 hours before closing, leaving 0 staff on the checkouts and forcing everyone who's doing their shop be it a quick meal or a weekly big shop...to use the self checkout.

The manager will attempt to lean on the excuse that Sainsburys doesn't want people on the checkouts, for a start it's illegal to leave a checkout that has a cash flow unattended...but beyond that you'll find staff chattering at the back of the store instead of operating just the 1 checkout which has made me on several occasions consider just putting my shopping back and going to either Aldi or Tescos.

Have sent evidence of these claims to head office and been informed they will be looked into but I think personally if you're not looking to spend up to 30mins checking out every item individually yourself on a machine that requires assistance every 2 items on average, I'd shop somewhere else.

Having run multiple similar stores such as Pets at Home, Hobbycraft and Asda...I can say beyond any reasonable doubt that this store is operated poorly. The colleagues are lovely but the manager restricts their service to ensure the store is tidy and faced up several hours before closing which leaves customers to operate the entire store and they wonder why shoplifters target them 😅🤷🏻‍♂️

Helpful staff and range of products and services, including Argos inside. Multistorey car park and pedestrian access from Neston village.

Same level parking at top of multi storey - nice views. Staff friendly and helpful.
Smart scan - using mobile staff on hand near tills if needed, plenty of offers - clean and tidy store.

Great local supermarket shop for the Neston town. They have a good stock of fresh vegetables, fruits and meats. A good place to buy your every day groceries.
