Tesco Express

I go to this Tesco nearly every day. The staff are great I get along with them really well. I especially love seeing them helping the elderly or partially sighted. They work so hard! The stock can be a bit low but generally the staff ther work really hard to help and are friendly.

Self check outs never work or both are set to pay by credit card it's pathetic and creates more queues for those wanting to pay by cash because you have to queue then to pay the employee, no logic whatsoever! The staff are friendly and polite in all fairness, one of the ATM machines outside never works aswell which again is annoying and hasn't worked for ages, it's poorly run whether that's due to management fack knows!

There is one guy named Ragu, he helped me a lot finding things what I want and I visited this store so many times and he is always helping like this whenever I’m struggling. I’m not good in finding things easily.

Not a fan really since their unvetted Manager stole my debit card and spent £600 + on it...not even a hint of an apology from Tesco. Wouldn't have happened if he were working with others. He was working alone. Odd that Tesco don't have a problem hiring thieves....especially as Managers...especially since I had cancer at that point and HE knew it. Scrupleless company leaving their female staff to take serious abuse from customers whom I have seen firing missiles at them and bless their staff not wanting to complain as they lose their jobs if there is a hint of them necessitating security guards. One of the previous guards, by the way, was stabbed twice.So, I shop there when I absolutely HAVE to. Horrible company only interested in making money. Really, really bad news that your employer has not a vestige of thought for your safety.

Good for the essentials but not a lot of choice

Recently witnessed a member of staff assault and steal a homeless man’s bag, illegal and just horrible.
Used to be a nice shop with a caring security guard, now that Tesco’s staff members have gone all vigilante I’ll be giving it a miss.

I have resantly moved to the area and what a pleasure to pop to the local Tesco, the shop has everything you could want just on your doorstep. Not just that but the security guard Stuart ...was an absolute delight from helping me find what I needed to lifting my mood .what an absolute gent .
