Tesco Express

I dropped something in the store- even though it was my fault it but the manager replaced it for free without me asking. The staff are always nice whenever I visit also

Mostly aimed at the student customers. Weird staff member that only has a job due to the equalities act. Stock marked up at 15p to 50p more than in a bigger store

Have the bare minimum stock. Good for everyday groceries.

I do like this store but I live close to the Albany Road Metro so really do notice the premium the Express stores put on most items. However it's great as a backup when the Metro is closed as it does have a good range of basics, albeit clearly oriented to the student market it mostly serves, and a reasonable selection of chilled items, given the size of the store. It's small so can feel crowded, even with social distancing in place and it sometimes does take a while to get served, but as others have mentioned the staff are always patient, polite and friendly 🙂

Live the staff in there. Some of the nicest people. Obviously not much variety but its everything you'd need

Lacks a lot of essential stuff to be honest, not a very good Tesco for student area and most of the time the dishes are empty, not much stock.

Poor variety a plus is that closes late at night.
