This store has recently cut manned tills to just 6. Everything else is self service. I am sure that this has allowed them to cut staffing and the customer experience has suffered. I will be using Tesco less from now on, Aldi seem to understand customers needs far better.

Great shop with lots of choice, shelfs where stacked and nothing looking bare. Staff friendly and helpful. Parked OK in car park with lots of free spaces.

Tesco provide uniforms, including trousers, why then is there a midle aged man in a tesco top and skinny black jeans with loafers and no socks working in Tesco Cardigan. He looks ridiculous. Apparently he is a manager or team leader???

Popped in on way home and like most Tesco stores was clean, tidy and well stocked. Picked up what I needed, plus a few treats for the weekend without too much trouble. Didn't have to queue long as I prefer a manned till to the self serve nightmares. Parking spaces were plentiful. Staff were friendly and chatty. Not too many people in store so I was happy.

As far as Tesco goes the Cardigan store is not the best. Parking is limited in high season and there are not enough manned tills in the store so quite often there are queues, of course there are many self service checkouts ( some of them don't take cash) But not everyone wants to use them as they care about job losses. Two toilets in the ladies, one seems permanently out of order so more queues there too. The staff are great though.

I have been to the store on 5 occasions to obtain a mobile phone package. On each occasion my address was ‘unable to be found’, updating my address was supposed to be a 24 hour service. Much to mine and the mobile shop staff’s frustration this has not happened despite having adequate ID and checking with the post office that my house is registered with them. Considering that my round trip to the store is 20 miles each time I am very disappointed with the database updates.
