Oh dear. Where is all the stock ? Been coming here for years due to fair prices, good quality and friendly helpful staff. In the last few months the stock levels have got steadily lower on lots of items. This week at 9.00am on a Friday lots of products are either very low levels or none at all. It seems to be the own branded products in particular which mean missing out on what you want or paying much more for the branded alternative. Not a great choice when trying to beat the cost of living crisis of late.

Giving sainsburys a 3 star... this is for
the bakery department They need some tips from tesco and morrisons on how to prepare and bake their baguettes and uncut loafs..

The baguettes are so hard 😫 you would break your teeth on them.. even the birds don't want them.

I recently asked a member in the bakery if they had any fresh baguettes, and she replied they are fresh .. say no more🤪

Difference in price of items over 7 day period unbelievable. Unjustifiable jumping on the inflation road trip to the enth degree!
6pack of chewing gum from £2.75p to £3.00p.
Factor in the probability that nationwide they sell thousands of packs =massive profits on just one item, Factor in the hundreds of other items that are available to purchase, one can only deduce massive profiteering.
Increased transportation costs would be covered by an increase of 1p per item.
Another day in rip off Britain

Overall, it was a good experience for our first time here. We came a couple of days before Christmas, and although very busy, we found a parking space and tills were flowing. Great selection in store with helpful staff. Toilets were a bit messy, tissue on the floor, water everywhere, and soap spread around. Cafe looked quiet (but we didn't go in) .

Thank you Sainsburys, today my faith in customer service being recognised came back after several years of poor service. First we had a problem at check out due to a service offered by Sainsburys failed to work. System glitch. We queried this with one of the staff, who agreed that there was a proble. Although this person was helpfull she could not really offer a way out of the issue. After a minute or so she said that she would get one of the managers to try and resolve the issue. Well another lady turned up and between her and the first lady resolved our problem with smiles all around. To me there are always likely to be issues arising in our daily interactions with business. However, it is also the way that the company representatives act to resolve the problem that is more important. The two ladies a manager and check out lady were fabulous and a pleasure to do business with.

Not enough small trolleys, had to use my walker and a basket so couldn't buy much but It took me a week to leave the house and I need to eat. I use self scan as I can't stand in queues as I am in constant pain. When I get overcharged on items I don't expect to have to stand in a queue for the cigarette counter behind 20 people doing god knows how many peoples lottery and chatting because they don't get out out of the house much. You ripped me off, refund me. Either have the people on the checkouts able to correct your incompetence or have a designated customer service desk to remedy your failings like you used to have, though dealing with the cantankerous idiotic staff on that counter was a chore. Being asked if I had plugged in a faulty microwave I'd packed up and taken back was one highlight of the good old days when you could just go to the customer service desk. The only reason you get 2 stars is because the lady on the counter could see the stupidity of your current set up and handled it brilliantly. She gets 5 stars

Extortionate price for fuel. Better to go elsewhere! As at 06:10 on 29 December 2022, petrol here is still 161.9p per litre, but only 149.9 at Tesco's and 150.7 at Asda. I puchased here on 23 December as I expected Sainsbury's to be reasonably competitive, even if not absolute cheapest. I will be making an official complaint.

My first time in Sainsbury for quite a while but was shopping for someone else with a 5 item list. I could not find an item and asked an employee was sent to the wrong Isle... I asked another and again sent to the wrong Isle number. I gave up and mentioned that at ASDA you have to fight the staff off as they insist taking you to the items in question.
