This is the only Asda that I have been to that expects you to pay to park! The car park is probably run by Pembrokeshire council, but why do they expect you to pay to park to shop at Asda when there are 3 other supermarkets with free parking within a 1 minute drive from Asda. I regularly visit Pembroke on holiday and always wondered why my family never shops at Asda when we're here. Now I know. They also don't have make your own pizzas here (incidentally, the reason why we chose to break from tradition and try out this Asda).

Visited while staying overnight locally, store was clean and tidy with some very helpful staff, didn't have one item we wanted even though they checked but found an alternative. Ample parking including disabled and parent and child.

I refuse to shop at this store simply because of the parking fee. I don't care if it's 1p or 50p to park, it's the principle. Unfortunately I do have to collect parcels now and again for a person who is unable to shop for themselves and in my experience the staff's attitudes is not good. I always get the sense that collecting a parcel is an effort for them and I do not know why because there are always staff standing around chatting. You can be waiting for some time before they bring the parcel to you, and I wonder how they would be able to cope if ever it was busy. There should be a much more efficient service in place and one with a smile.

Food delivery ordered for 10 till 12 delivery, no sign at 13.30 so we called helpline which was hepless, happy to cancel the order and make us wait 5 days for refund, tried phoning Asda Pembroke direct and you get told to phone the helpline. So at 13.45 we have no food, no refund and Asda online have us on hold waiting for us to give up and hang up - appalling customer service

ASDA Staff are frequently gathered under the awning smoking.
Car park is pay and display.
Supermarket is small, so there is a limited choice in comparison to Asda' a full range of goods.

Really poor click and collect experience. We usually shop at alternative click and collect supermarkets (Tesco, Aldi etc) but this Xmas decided to shop with Asda due to availability of slots. We confirmed our order ahead of collection but still had a 15min wait in the allocated bays, despite the rest of the car park being incredibly quiet. We did have an employee offer us somebody else's order whilst we were waiting though :/ Even worse than that was the way we received the goods; We had ordered in excess of 120 items specially for Xmas day and to our amazement they weren't packaged in anything. This meant we had to hand ball everything into our car loose, hardly ideal when you've got a long journey home. Your competitors give out compostable bags / boxes to make the experience better, the least you could do is to advise shoppers. The whole click and collect experience needs to be reviewed, not least having some lighting near the dedicated bays, so you can at least see what substitutes you've been given. Need to do much better!

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I recently used the scan as you go and it was so simple to use. It's a large store but it never seems to have a big variety of produce. The clothes section is great for children. Their bakery section is always full but that's probably the most well stocked department. Handy for click and collect orders and online orders but I do always find this slow. A nice supermarket but not the best
