Wessex Swim School

Excellent staff and wonderful team of do-ers. Not the cheapest on the market but you get much better teachers. The kids love their teacher and they are very good from what I can see, much better than our last swim school

Been thrilled with the progress of my 3 year old with Wessex Swim! Administratively, very communicative and responsive. Instructors are very good at teaching skills in fun, interactive ways. At first I was nervous for a lap pool (toddlers can't reach the bottom), but I truly think it's better for my child's confidence and skills -- and there is always a very attentive lifeguard. Small classes mean that a lot gets worked on each week. Grateful for the online course tracker to understand what's being tackled.

This is an excellent swimming school! Our son has progressed a huge amount in a very short time. The real benefit is the class size: never more than 3 children per teacher. Staff are friendly and welcoming and our son always leaves his lesson with a smile on his face. I would highly recommend.

Great swim school. Small classes at the right level for your child, patient and understanding instructors. Very easy to see your child's progress using the on-line progress checker.

Our son has made tremendous progress since signing up at the facility at Goldophin School.

The facility is well maintained and the pool is clean. It is never crowded. The staff are quite professional and friendly to the children.

There is a ratio of one instructor to three children mostly. Compared to other places we have been to, the hands on approach of the instructors and the low ratio to children has led to a rapid improvement for our boy.

Overall, the learning environment is conducive with a lot of commendation given to the children to build up their confidence.

Note: parents/carers are not allowed in the pool but are allowed to watch through the glass from the viewing area which serves as a sort of ante or waiting room as well.

I would have loved to add pictures but it is a strictly no camera zone.

A bit pricey but you get your penny's worth out of the team. I highly recommend Wessex Swim School.

A brilliant swimming school, I cannot recommend them highly enough. All the staff are friendly, encouraging and highly experienced. My daughter has absolutely loved her lessons with Wessex Swim School. 🏊‍♀️

Small class sizes, great teaching with a consistent, supportive approach. My son made great progress.
