Came here to get a broken skirt zipper repaired - most of the previous reviews I read highlighted the fast and (sometimes) same day service, so I was slightly surprised when they told me it would take a week to complete, but when I told them I needed it more urgently they instead offered to do it in 4 days which worked fine for me. Overall I was very happy with the friendly and professional service and the work done.

The husband and wife were brilliant. They fitted my mum in to have her Mother of the Bride outfit altered last minute as she was let down by another shop. We couldn't have asked them to do a better job at altering her outfit and mum is very happy. The husband and wife are friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us. Would definitely recommend them!

I cannot praise the quality of New Stitches workmanship highly enough. Notwithstanding the need to significantly shorten the sleeves of my loden coat it was returned to me with the alteration made but still looking exactly like the original. Excellent and worth every penny

Went in to ask if the could alter 5 pairs of jeans they were very busy but managed to do them for me within 3 hours very helpful and courteous thanks

Just had my sheepskin,coat back today what a fantastic company very good in price and polite and a good job done I'll recommend to any one to go there you'll be very happy

Went to the store and asked for them to repair two buttons. Was told it would cost 3 pounds to repair each button. When I came back to pick the coat up, the manager told me that it costs 10 pounds per button. I asked why the price had changed, and the manager started getting really mad for no reason, and proceeded to BREAK the buttons he had repaired in front of me.
Absolute terrible service, WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SHOP.

These 1* comments match up and are unbelievable! Closing early so clothes can't be collected? Shrugging customers off, Ripping buttons off that' you'd fixed infront of customers because of a cost dispute?!
Refusing customers and being outright rude.
Before you reply telling me that my name doesn't match up with your records, it doesnt, ive never visited but the comments alone have made me want to leave a bad reveiw and ruin your day like youve ruined plenty of others 😂
