For a £7.29, 8 Oz meal deal you expect a decent high quality burger. When asked the my server me if the meat was fresh and not frozen, I was told that fresh but with chewy the burger was, I would have believed that it was frozen. Towards the end of the burger it started to fall apart. It also didn't help that the battle was especially greasy.

The rice and chips were the best part so if you are here, avoid the burger and go for the rice and/or chips.

The rice was had a nice spicy subtle glow to it and the chips were definitely nice when salted and had a nice amount of crunch to them.

Probably the best takeaway in Watford. And trust me, we order 'a lot'. The portion sizes are always great- but what stands out is the attention to the quality of meats. The burgers taste 'real' unlike some other places where the meat tastes compressed. And the chicken especially with that house standard 'funky' sauce- it's a sheer delight. I highly recommend you trying this place out if in Watford.

We had a quick dinner here before our visit at the WB museum, very good and nice staff, friendly to foreigners and helpful, the food was prepared from fresh ingredients, tasted amazing and had a lot of spice and herbs used in it, which gave it the right flavor and I was surprised by the low price compared to other places in London. If you are in this area and hungry, I recommend this place.

Heard some good stuff re funky flvs. Drove down from Luton and boy o boy was the food on point.
Ordered for 4 man's with total bill of £58.
Had a recommendation from mate to try kofta & chicken tikka burger, so we LL ordered this. Omd. The burger was soooo amazing. 10/10.
Also had a cheeky 4oz smash burger and that was 12/10. Too too good. A must try for burgers.

Just ordered take away from there and let me say this is the best food we have had for a while. Chips good size, well seasoned, burger massive with amazing juicy chicken, lamb chops so juicy and chicken wings so tasty.
If you like saucy and flavourful food then get this !!

Visited 19/12/12 had a burger and chicken wrap. Both freshly cooked full and full of flavor. The bloke that served me was great and felt welcome soon as i walked through the door. Will revisit if in area again

So I have reviewed this place before as me and my partner have eaten here several times, my previous review was 5 stars. Ordered funky flavours last night, food dosent take long to get here and we always enjoy the food. Last night was no different, I had the flamer burger meal and my partner had the prime burger meal. Food was tasty but they forgot the drinks, the drinks are a part of the burger meal and I honestly can't believe they forgot them, very disappointed as we really wanted are drinks. Funky flavours has a bad selection of fizzy drinks, only on good option on there list. Its not a cheap takeaway, so to not be giving people what they have paid for, especially atm with cost of living being so high is a big let down. I will eat here again as there food is really good.
