Flakes Dessert Parlour

Wonderful little place. Open late and does great deserts. The ice creams are great but the cookie dough stuff is tremendous. Cakes too are great..in fact everything is great. Loce the fact there is seating too making a ready little ice cream diner.

I have been getting from flakes a few times during isolation for myself and the family. And every order has been perfect. Got another order tonight and again was spot on. Honestly got us through isolation with 2 young kids. If they don’t behave they get their flakes ☺️ Thanks again.

Don't get a delivery from this joke of a place.
Firstly delivered 20 mins late.
I phoned to complain about all the waffles were stone cold only to be told by an rude,arrogant employee that how can they be cold when this order was there first delivery of the day.The clue to why they were cold is mentioned above "20 MINUTES LATE".
The waffles we're very doughy and sticks to the roof of your mouth.
I could have made a better attempt making them myself.
TOTAL RIP OFF and 3 very disappointed children.

After having dinner out we went to Flakes on the way home to get an order for my son. There was one other person in front of me at the shop and they were receiving online orders too. 3 people came and got served and left while I was still waiting; a girl said it wouldn't be long. Then after more ppl being served and leaving and my order still not there; me standing there looking at them….I asked again how long,…they then scurried about and cane back to ask what I had ordered as had no idea what it was! It was one hot cookie dough…and they saw me standing there for 35mins. Not an apology or discount offered. I waited 50mins in the end, had to tell my family who were waiting in the car to go home and come back for me. You would think they would of had the sense to check what my order was or why I was still standing there after 35 mins while other people that offered there and then got served and were away,

Ingredients are not of a high quality, the item was ok but probably not worth the wait and money. The kitchen area was messy and seemed a bit disorganised. Customer service needs improved.

My favourite dessert place ever!

We had a cookie dough and a sundae. Expensive treat, but they wrapped everything in tinfoil for me for travelling. Very kind.

Over priced £13.45 for caramel churritos and 4 scoops of ice cream. But nice enough. Would purchase again if I had a craving

Ordered a sundae and a waffle, the order wasn’t rung up on the till, only the till drawer opened, looked a bit dodgy, food was lovely but not worth the price, sundaes from Renaldos are much better for the price, don’t think I would return
