My Cod fish bar

Lovely lockdown birthday treat, fish was delicious large portions not greasy at all, the chips again large portions not greasy.
My son had the chicken burger which he really enjoyed. I had a chicken portion it was cooked perfect not dry very tasty.
The service was good nice friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and I would use again

Have ordered maybe 5 or 6 times over the last few months, continuously giving them another chance, but there is always something wrong or something missing. They will quite literally make prices up as they go along, too. We order the same things each time and have been charged something different every time!

I have always ordered from yourselves and always been happy and enjoyed my food. The fact that the order was placed and money was taken from my account and then cancelled is one thing. To take my money and then have a text to say I will have my refund in 3 to 5 days is ridiculous. After this today I will be giving my money elsewhere. A pity.

Ordered a beef burger instead of a cheese burger because I can’t eat dairy at the moment, got sent a cheese burger. What’s the point in having the options of choosing either a Beef Burger or a Cheese burger if you’re going to send one out with cheese regardless? Rang up to politely ask if a beef burger could be sent out without cheese and was told no by a fumbling employee. Just really annoying, not everyone wants cheese on their beef burger that’s why we didn’t choose a cheese burger online! Waste of money and time.

Never had issue before ordered 2 curry rice and chips and seperate bag off chips only 1 of the curry rice had chips the did not had to seperate the chips between my partner friend bit disappointed

Have ordered from here many times. They could not get an order right to save their lives with items missing yet again. No remedy offered. I will never order from here again, and I suggest you think twice also

The food is fairly standard for a fish shop. I ordered ahead on JustEat and waiting 25 minutes for my small order to be completed. When I went over I found that my food wasn't even started so I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my food to be cooked. If your in a rush avoid at all costs, but if you fancy a classic chippy and don't mind the wait this is the place for you.

Loved the food when I went instore, but had it delivered to Abertridwr and it was a bit naff.

Curry & chips is perfect but I recommend collecting it. Not sure if there were several stops on the way to me, but it wasn't great by the time it arrived to my house. They also forgot some of the stuff I asked for & when I asked for a refund they said I'd have to call back the following day. 🙄
