The Bay Fish & Chips

Lovely take out this evening, service with a smile! The batter on the fish was delicious and everything was fresh, done to order. I would highly recommend their food.

Lovely quiet restaurant right in the centre. Staff attentive and friendly. Fair price. Great cuppa! Fish and chips cooked as requested, one fish well done and one lightly battered.

I cannot fault their service or food. I’ve had many meals from here and never been disappointed. Today was the first time I had ordered 2 Sunday lunches. Again the quality, the portion size, taste etc was excellent. No idea how they do it at that price. Thank you .

My family and I went there towards the end of the day and we were the only ones there. Needless to say, the staff were welcoming and attentive. The young chaps couldn’t do enough. Top marks to them. The bistro was small, well decorated and had a homely feel. We just had fish and chips, but it was very good. Price was comparative to others. I really rate it.

Oh dear! Just moved to Colwyn Bay and decided to give this shop a try based on the good reviews. Waited 25 minutes after I ordered take away fish and chips twice. The fish was so small, I have had bigger fish fingers! Charged full price for a half size fish. Shame on you, would have given zero stars if I could

Am always so happy to find a chippy that does gluten free. These were the best chippy chips I've ever tasted. Was shocked I could have the curry sauce. Amazing. 100% recommend.

I've eaten in the the bistro twice in the last two weeks. I can honestly say that I wasn't disappointed either time, the food was lovely, even my grandson ate all of his meal. Very attentive staff and really good prices. I've told all my friends about this place and none of them have anything but praise. Well worth a visit. 🙂.

They've clearly thought about the Gluten Free batter recipe, which is excellent, light, crispy & not greasy. The portion size is perfect to fill up hungry athletes after a cross-country race!
