Scampi's Fish and Chips

Food was shocking chips were soggy and soaked in fat and pie was still cold in the middle.. I went here as the ratings were good. Walking home I passed the chip shop called Leon's which have no ratings and the food looked some much more appetising and value for money. Won't be coming back here.

It's gone a bit down hill recently. The fish isn't up to standard and the batter is mushy. The fish smelt alot which isn't good.

Absolutely terrible, I came out of the con club about 4 and fancied some fish and chips. The chips were soggy and greasy, the fish was cold and the batter fell off. £8.80 trust me go to the model Windsor Road, cheaper and 100% better.

The taste was great, shame the chips weren't a little bit more crispier and the batter on the sausages look a bit neamic could do with a bit more colour and the pickled eggs were not very pickled, other than this the price is great and the presentation of the place very clean and the atmosphere friendly.

Terrible quality fish & chips. Food was cold and batter soggy. Didn’t taste fresh at all. Staff weren’t friendly either. Don’t waste your money. For the prices they are charging I would definitely go elsewhere!!

Coming from the midlands, this is the single best fish and chips I’ve ever had, the fish was MASSIVE and very high quality, and the chips were also fantastic, very crunchy and personally cut to perfection. If you’re around Neath this is a must visit.

Ordered through just eat. Said delivery would be 20-30 mins took 1hr 10mins. Ordered a meal but came with no chips. Phoned shop to say chips were missing from meal deal, she asked where I was, I said waunceirch but she didn't take my exact address and said she'd send driver back up, but didn't sound genuine and how would she know where to send him. Then I rang back as I noticed ta sweet chilli sauce was missing too and the lady that answered just said 'ok' and put the phone down. This was 40 mins ago and still no sign of my chips and sauce! Awful customer service, do not order a delivery from this place!!! Rip off!!!. 😡
