Goodwick Fish and chips Limited

Really sad to write this as we used to love ordering from here. But the last 3 or 4 time we have had to wait for over 1 hr for our food and on the last two occasions things were missing. This evening we waited 1hr 24 mins for our food and when it got here they had forgotten all the curry saices and so I called them and we had to wait a further 15 mins for the curry sauces by which time the chips were cold. Not even a can of pop as an gesture of apology. Sorry but we won't be ordering again.

Looks ;like there was a blip a year or so ago, but my experience on two occasions this week was good. I dropped in one lunchtime and ordered battered sausage and chips. I had to wait five minutes for fresh chips but it was worth it as they were golden crisp and delicious.
Last night after a meeting, I ordered fish and chips for a couple of colleagues on the phone. for 7 pm . They were ready on the dot when I arrived. The fish was good, the batter crispy and the chips were excellent and plenty of them.
It seems they have turned a corner. The only slight glitch costing a star was the polystyrene containers. People expect environmentally friendly packaging nowadays!

Honestly love this chippy. My favourite. I'll happily travel the 20 miles from my home just to have a takeaway from here. Staff are always pleasant and have always got my order spot on. Good value for money too.This is also the only chippy that doesn't upset my stomach. Definitely doing something right!

Always service with a smile, food priced well and usually cooked to order. Best place for fish and chips around.

Absolutely gutted to be writing this review as Goodwick chippy up until two months or so ago had lovely fish and chips and the pizzas were great. On Three occasions we waited OVER an hour over the delivery time and had to ring to chase up the order.

We understand places get busy in the summer season, but two hours after ordering food on three occasions (ONCE last week) we've decided we won't be going back again. I'm not sure if it's new management or new staff but food is slow, the food was also undercooked on two occasions and the quality just isn't the same as it used to be.

Such a shame but, I wouldn't recommend.

Tasty food. Kept hot. Generous with sauces. Fish was oily. Service not great. Ordered online with a preparation time of 25 minutes. Planned evening out with fish and chips on the way. Order placed at 1810 wasn't ready until 1930.

Terrible food and service. Placed a telephone order to be collected at an agreed time, however, when I went in the food wasn't ready. Waited over 25 mins whilst they got my order ready! Some chips were raw and others crunchy in the middle. Would not recommend and will not be going again.
