Tad cod

We were hungry and looking forward to a nice cod and chips. We checked out the reviews and they looked good. In reality what we got was soggy chips and greasy battered cod. Shame.

I love fish and chips, what Brit doesn’t, but I think I have experienced the best fish and chips I’ve ever had when visiting this shop in Brecon today. The fish was cooked perfectly and the batter, wow, a crispy batter, very tasty and the chips were some of the best I’ve had too. We sat outside and on two occasions I heard one lad tell his mate that this was the best chippy in town. And a family walked passed and the lady said that the food here was the best around. Highly recommend this place.

Everyone's meals were nasty which is a shame considering the very high prices. Soggy bland chips and tiny dry hollow fish. Ew. Not recommended.

WOW!!!This is the best Cod and Chips I have eaten in a long time!!!
Crispy light batter, beautiful flakes of cod and the chips perfectly cooked and so delicious. Very generous portions and price. I also loved their buzzer system as we had to wait for the meal to be freshly cooked. Highly recommend
DON’T waste your money going anywhere else. The other chip shops in town are awful.

Fish and chips very good. Clean tidy seating area as it's a take away as well. Certainly more costly eating in. About 40% more . But worth it in our case. . Pleasant staff certainly use again.

WOW. Never have I tasted Battered Cod such amazing. Best in Wales!! And they cook it fresh to order (so its not soggy nor greasy like I've had in the past from your usual chippy) I really recommend the HOMEMADE tartar sauce.....

Was ok for a fish and chip bar. Has a restaurant cafe. Quality and quantity of food was good, that's the most important point. Certainly use again.

Fairly average fish and chips and quite pricey. Also doesn’t have a customer toilet even though it’s a restaurant that seats more than 10 which probably in breach of local regulations. Something of a hygiene issue if you can’t wash your hands before you eat.
