We went here for lunch, it was a very nice little place. We were served quickly and the waitstaff was very knowledgeable about the menu. Also it was a bit chilly that day and someone had left the front door open and so I put my jacket on my shoulders so that I wouldn't be cold and one of the staff noticed and made sure to close the door. I was quite impressed with how quickly everyone was taken care of in the restaurant. It was a very nice meal and good value.

Amazing food!! Lovely warm welcome, please go and enjoy it. A lovely menu to choose from, just enough without overwhelming you. I had the club Sandwich and my husband had the three meat pannini and we ate every morsel!! Only downside is they only accept cash, but luckily there is a cashpoint just next door!! Beautiful setting, very rustic with modern bucket type seating, very comfortable 👍 we will definitely be returning!

Lovely little cafe. We stopped and had some lunch this afternoon. We were greeted and seated quickly and our order for drinks and food was taken within a few minutes. I was assured that the panini was delicious and the jacket potato was piping hot and of a large size. A few little things stopped it from being a 4 star but nothing that needs posting. I will go again soon.

I ordered a fairly quick breakfast, but waited at least 20 mins bfore it was served. By then my cappuccino, which was served almost immediately, was starting to go cold. I always prefer my drink with my food,so not that great. Whilst the food itself was very good,it just took the edge off, given the dreadful weather we've been getting. I was looking forward to a hot meal to warm me through. The food is always very good and the coffee too, just needed it to arrive quicker than it did. No other complaint. I only usually go there for a midday meal- usually in the form of breakfast food.

Always had a lovely breakfast here. Not Good value for money any more. Besides the unhappy person serving us, the food has become expensive and not as good quality as it used to be. My wife had her normal food when we visited this cafe on 15th April 2022, an omelette and salad, well the salad was a little bit of lettuce and about 4 strands of onion and a little pot of coleslaw, now the omelette was something else, it had gone up a lot in price and it was so small it would have only been enough to feed a small child. I also asked the gentleman if he could top up the Tea Pot with hot water but not put a new Teabag in the pot, that was like asking him to empty the till, he put about 20mm of water and that was that. My breakfast was OK, but no tomato as per the menu and also smokey bacon which was not on the menu and I do not like smokey bacon. I asked for brown sauce and that came out in a pot the size of a thimble, so I had to ask again for more sauce which they then gave me the bottle, in all fairness, the 2 ladies were very polite and helpful, more than I can say for the guy that worked there.
We have been many many times to this cafe under the same people working there, but this will 100% be the last time. We went a couple of weeks ago and the place just stunk of cooked food as the ventilation is very poor and your clothes stuck of cooking after leaving there. We thought a few weeks ago we would give it another chance, this time it did not smell of cooking, but that could also be because it was lovely weather outside and they had the door open and maybe the kitchen window (don't know for sure). But with the service and the size of the food provided for the amount it costs, this will certainly be our last visit. Very very disappointed.

Price is fair for the experience - relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff/owner, clean, consistent, I ask for a double shot here as that's how I like my coffee from this place. I remember my parents moving down from Scotland and struggling to find a place they liked to eat and have coffee from, they were hard to please...this place was one of very few places they managed to enjoy 😅

Attempted to go in for a drink and got nothing but attitude off someone young serving us. Told us there was no peroni and it ran out a week ago. Then all me and my dad got was mocked and disgusting attitude. Will never return. Rude

Coffee was OK. Price was more expensive than Costa £7 for very weak latte and black coffee. Won't be using again 2 coffees £7 so wrong. I did try to ring a few times but no answer and no return call
