My first time visiting good as gold and will definitely visit again. Couldn't recommend enough. So clean and such a friendly atmosphere. Jamie and Gem really make you feel settled and welcome. Very happy with my tattoo too it's perfect. Thank you so much :)

I wanted to wait to do this review until the tattoo was fully healed but I’m too impatient! 😂🙈

I could honestly ramble on for ages about my experience getting my first tattoo here but I’ll keep it short:

💕 FANTASTIC customer service! None of my questions or requests were silly or too much trouble.

💕 BRILLIANT communication! Both via message regarding the actual booking and the design process.

💕 AMAZING! Both Jay & Gem put my nerves at ease and made Me feel comfortable on the day.

As a really impatient person I was a little put off by how quickly this place gets booked up but it really is a testament of Jay’s talent & Gem’s loveliness. I get it now and can’t wait to book in again in future!

I had the best experience at Good as Gold tattoo. I got a voucher for Xmas, I contacted them in January and was booked in for July. It was quite a wait, but so so worth it. My view was, if they're booked up this much in advance, they must be worth it! And it was. From the moment I walked in I felt at ease. Both Jay and Gem are the nicest people.
I absolutely adore my tattoo and cannot wait to get another.

First of all I want to say how immaculate the studio is and the decor is stylish and welcoming. both Jay and Gemma are extremely professional and down to earth people. I've now had 3 cover ups and 2 original pieces at good as gold and I absolutely love all of them. the detailing is amazing. see you both in may

Love love love my newest tattoo from Jay , Gem and Jay make it such a pleasant experience every time . So friendly and reassuring in everything they do . Very professional and clean premises but so warm and inviting at the same time … I suffer from anxiety quite bad and my first tattoo with them I had someone with me the entire time , I now just get dropped off and picked up as I feel so safe and looked after by them both . Highly recommend though you have a long wait for appointments as they are so popular it’s well worth it . I just book a couple in advance so the wait between isn’t so long . Would never go anywhere else now , can’t wait till jan for my next one

My first time at this studio and getting my first colour tattoo. I was really nervous but the studio was spotless and Jay made me feel really welcome and was super helpful by altering my design option and making sure I was happy and satisfied with all options before he started. Enjoyed watching some tv to help keep me calm through it all. extremely satisfied with both the end result and great prices. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a tattoo :)

From the first contact with Gemma for booking to having my tattoo I couldn't be happier. Got email reminders of the appointment which is great as my appointment was 8 months from booking.

I sent various images to Jay and asked him to combine them and the image he gave me was just beautiful and everything I'd asked and hoped for.

As soon as you walk in you can see the place is super clean with all covid measure in place and I felt comfortable.

Jay was so lovely and made me feel wt ease, although this wasn't my first tattoo it was almost 20 years since my last so I was a little nervous.

He gave me guidance and advice on the size and colours based on what I wanted.

He even let me choose something to watch on the TV to keep me entertained and didn't judge at my choice 🤣🤣.

Couldn't be happier and would recommend Jay and Gemma everytime.
