Ibis Cars

I have used a different local minicab company loyally for years. They were unable to provide a car yesterday despite several hours noticed so I googled and found this company. They turned up exactly on time with a comfortable and clean vehicle and drove my son and me to our destination in Teddington via an efficient route, all for a very reasonable price. I will use them again.

Requested car never turned up and control denied knowledge of request for a six seater

Terrible Airport route service. No confirmation of booking until landed. (Rude advisor on phone too when booking so wasn’t sure it was booked!). Driver wasn’t even waiting at gate to meet - had to run around car park trying to find them. Took so long that was charged extortionate parking fee

Additionally wouldn’t take card for payment.

I recently made a return booking with ibis, checked in with them last night and they claimed that they did not have the inbound booking (flight number given upon initial booking so they could track) on the system. Called in earlier today to double check with the flight number just so I wouldn't double book cabs before making a new booking. They reassured that the booking was not on the system, and later today I got a message re the booking?! And what I got from Ibis Cars was "Why are you twisting this why did you give us your flight number then, DONT USE US ANYMORE THANK YOU FOR WASTING OUR TIME"
It is sad bc their cab service is actually reliable but the customer service experience was just... beyond description.

We just got married. Called in advance to get pricing for taxis to transport ten of us from Chiswick High Road to central London for a dinner - family visiting from US and Australia. Price and availability confirmed - and I said I’d call back to confirm. I tried calling back three times over the next 30 mins, no answer. Then received a mysterious text from them confirming someone else’s booking. Managed to get through to them about an hour before we had to get the taxis, and they told us they couldn’t do it as their taxis were booked out. No apology. No suggested alternative. Now we are left with no transport to an important family meal that has been booked literally months in advance. Advised to call them on the day, then this happened.

I’m very upset and disappointed as now I have to call around other taxi companies instead of making cocktails for our guests arriving from the hotel nearby. This review took me 4 mins to write but I am so upset I had to do that first.

I am afraid based on this one experience I cannot recommend them.

Always on time perfect service. Just wish they had card option as only cash it's not convenient

No communication between the office and the drivers.
The driver extremely rude.
Poor, very poor.

They were excellent. Arrived on time. Took me to Victoria Station and later picked me up. It was trouble free and they are fairly priced. Will use them again.
