Steven was waiting for me at the station when I arrived in Aber on Friday in dreadful weather so it was a warm welcome as usual. As always the most reliable, friendly and excellent service. Always so friendly and what a lovely guy, feel 100% safe (as a woman on her own this is so important) nothing too much trouble. I always use him and would without any hesitation recommend Steven for any taxi needs. Would give ten stars if I could.

This man is not suitable for a taxi driver job. Talks too much and nonsense about his Thailand trip and offered us Thai Viagra. Charged full while gave his card to call in future for discounted rates. Can't recommend him. There are many other decent taxi drivers in Aber.

OK yes I am the daughter of A1 taxi cabs but I'd like to give a 5 star review 2 my dad's taxis🚕. He isn't just the best taxi driver in aberystwyth he is the best Dad in the world too🌍. He has got to be one of the most friendly'est person I know & gets on with with everyone💐.
Also he would go out of his way for anyone👌.
My dad is everything I want to be when I grow up don't change for anyone stay exactly who you are I love you ❤️

What a way to be welcomed, just got off the train, first time in Wales, first impressions of customer service were set. Honestly a pleasure to spend time with and full of laughter. Thank you very much!

I've not had a better experience involving a car since Tokyo drift hit cinemas. Which is ironic as Steve bares a striking resemblance to vin diesel. I'll be using Steve diesel as my first choice taxi from now on :)

Twice now I have experienced and witnessed idiotic driving by the Skoda yeti. This morning at 7am, -8•c, winters morning, it’s dark, but could see headlights oncoming and then overtaking when there’s clearly not enough room to do so safely, causing other motorists to take action, and then to sit in a que of traffic anyway, and get to his destination 3 seconds earlier. The first time was a while ago, overtaking in a 30mph zone, just to travel two miles down the road in front of me to pull over in the town centre. I couldn’t trust the driver to transport my favourite pillow.

Steve picked us up promptly. Showed us new roads and even took the sharpest turning we’ve ever seen in second gear. He was safe reliable and humorous. We love Steve
