Great shop with a fantastic selection of loose leaf tea and coffee beans (that you can have ground to suit your needs), good range of cups, pots and bottles along with some delicious treats to enjoy with your drink. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Visited the shop 8yrs ago when I first moved to the area but unfortunately found the owner quite haughty and abrasive so never went back… until recently (end July 2022). Upon entering the shop, before I even had a chance to browse even one of the coffees, I was asked to leave and wait outside; “only one household in at a time”. A notice on the door requests customers to be masked (probably mentioned the household thing too but given that all government restrictions including Wales have been lifted some time ago, I didn’t notice it).
Shame. I won’t bother a third time.

Well stocked with coffees (beans or ground) teas and ancillary products. Coffee is fairly priced and great quality. Good service

Really rude owner/shop assistant. You'd better have a full degree in coffee beans before entering as asking for any information gets an incredibly cold and unhelpful response. Would not recommend.

The Mecca is just one of those shops that you keep going back to. The tea selection is outstanding, not to mention the chocolates, mugs, tea pots etc. when not in the area on holiday we travel to buy tea just for a day out. Forget going to whittards, if you want great quality tea, at a really good price and want to support an independent shop The Mecca is the place to go.

By far the best shop to find good tea and coffee in Aber as well as a variety of equipment. The shops great as long as you don't mind feeling completely unwelcome for a few minutes. The owner(?) is really quite cold and impatient like you're somehow an inconvenience to him by shopping there.

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Called in when visiting the area and was impressed with the range of tea and coffee. Have used the mail order service on numerous occasions since, and the service is always second to none.
