My wife and I had a wonderful breakfast at 'Frieda's' yesterday. We were welcomed with a lovely smile from Senem who served us attentively and with great charm, ably supported by Molly. The café has a very friendly atmosphere, the customers all talked and laughed with each other. A very refreshing experience in this day and age. We had the full English breakfast which arrived promptly, was hot, tasty and good value. The coffee was great too! All in all a fantastic little place tucked down a side street off the main road. Go and find it!

Popped in to Frieda's tearoom a couple of times during a recent trip to Winchester. I had poached eggs and spinach on muffins for breakfast which was quite substantial. I later popped in to try the home made cakes. I had the carrot and almond which was delicious. Very friendly staff make you feel very welcome...highly recommended.

Came to Frieda's Tearoom in Winchester for an afternoon tea and I would highly recommend!! Everything tasted so fresh, the scones were warm and they even did a surprise selection of sandwiches for us as we are vegetarians. The team were lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would re-visit without hesitation and I will be recommending to everyone. Price very reasonable too for what you get !

Visited for the first time today to have tea and cake for my birthday. Lovely interior, friendly staff, delicious tea made properly (in a pot!) and a gorgeous selection of cakes - what more could you ask for. I will definitely being going back to try the lunch menu 😃

Nice little tea room in Winchester, away from the busy high street. We had a lovely quick lunch and cream tea here. The loose tea earl grey was very good, so were the fruit scones. Sandwich and soup were simple but hearty. The coleslaw that came with the sandwich was freshly made and delicious. Very pleased that we found this place.

Small cute tea cafe. Delicious flat white and cappuccino + lovely tea cups. I love how cozy the feel of the cafe is. The cute chairs, colorful paintings and the decor 😍not too pricey too!

Would highly recommend it for afternoon tea with friends!

A cleverly placed bicycle made me aware of Frieda's. Visited and had an excellent slice of fruit cake (beautifully spiced, with soft, plump fruit) and a coffee (sorry, I needed the caffeine hit). The tearoom is best described as eccentric. I got the impression that none of the china matched, but who cares when the cake is that good! Definitely worthy of a visit when you are in Winchester.

Went on a trip to Winchester with my friends and came across this cute cafe along the way. Such a nice and cosy spot to sit and relax alongside a delicious piece of cake and a range of different types of tea. Incredibly kind, generous and lovely owners and staff. Thank you for a lovely experience and will definitely come back for the glutenfree brownies :)
