Tuckton Tea Gardens

Cute little cafe in a beautiful location. Lovely homemade food and cakes. Amazing hot chocolate too! And lots of outdoor benches to enjoy all year but particularly in the pretty summer garden. Hidden gem in Bournemouth

Tuckton hosted us for our work do and they were fantastic. So accommodating and lovely hosts. We had a beaut time!

Loved the setting, been coming here for some years. However, since the refurbishment, the place has gone up market, and no longer feels like somewhere you feel happy to pop in for a casual cup of tea. The menu says Pot of Tea £2.50 each, which is bad enough, but it seems because we sat outside we were only given tea in a cardboard takeaway cup, but we're still charged £2.50.
What is more, the tea, I suspect, came out of a vending machine. It certainly tasted like it., OK but not worth £2.50
Will probably come again, but mainly because there isn't anywhere else in the locality. I'd better start saving up!

Great place to rest up with your kids/dogs and grab a cuppa n cake! Meals are available but fairly limited. Breakfast options like bacon sandwiches are really nice!

Absolutely delightful tea room. The only thing to let it down is the toilets, complete opposite of the tea room. It was not cared for at all.

Lovely place right on River Stour. Food was cooked well and service good

I have been meeting friends here for years. The staff are always friendly and the food delicious. Sometimes you have to wait a while when it's really busy but what a wonderful view of the river while you wait! Highly recommended. ❤
