The kebab bun and kebab wrap in paratha were good as well as the loaded chips. The female server was very insistent we order the Berry blast drink, which essentially turned out to be two thirds ice cubes and was not that great. However, can't fault the food which was tasty.

This is the first time we tried Chaiiwala, only because some family and friends tried it and liked it. Maybe they ordered something else.
We did like the bun kebab and chai(over priced)was also nice(pretty average but nice). Didn't like the chicken naan roll because the sauce was sweet(probably used the ready made raita). Was very dissapointed when I saw frozen parathas!! At this price and with all the hype, I expected freshly made parathas or something atleast close enough. Frozen parathas were stuffed with potato mix and then cooked. The plain parathas(also frozen) were dry and didn't enjoy it.
We were also told to get desserts but I'm glad we didn't.

Very authentic Desi breakfast! Karachi Bun Kebab really takes you to the streets of Karachi. Omelette roll is very tasty. Karak Chai wakes you up fully. Masala Chips weren't that good unfortunately, were cold and felt a bit unfinished. Limbu Pani was exceptionally tasty. The really funny thing was they use a newspaper to serve the food! Everything is wrapped in newspaper, but it's not any newspaper. It's a page from a paper headlining the day after British leaving India!

Good friendly service, not greasy like most place. Would definitely go again. Only issue found on the menu was that traditional paratha was a frozen one. I spoke to the manager who accepted it wasn’t as stated on the menu. I was offered a refund and tea as good willed gesture.

My visit with ny family was a disappointment. The authentic taste an preparing is not here. Everything is frozen food. We came here to get a authentic Desi breakfast with halwa / Channa Puri. What with got was a frozen Puri, with pre made halwa and Channa, with a bonus of a hear in the Channa. Brought it back and no apologize or compensation, but a new on. How can this. I asked him if it was frozen and he said that's true. We paid more then what we would pay at Nagila, but got a whole lot of less quality.

I would say if you want to eat real Puri, halwa and Channa. Skip it. It seems that they do want your cash, but don't deliver the quality.

For me it's a mystery, why they have such a high score.

Plus point are, that it's clean and family friendly. Have to give a start for that.

Decent experience at Chaiwala Ilford lane. We took Desi breakfast platters.
Food was decent, I felt quantity was quite low as per the price, chai was great, staff was friendly and helpful.

Overall 7/10.

Food is good. Service is slow when there is hardly any customer. Always difficult to find parking at Ilford Lane. Karachi Bun kebab is the best item.

If you a tourist and looking for a karak/ Tea then chaiiwala is a decent option where the taste is good and consistent. Kindly note in my personal opinion the small cup of tea is good enough for 2. It's difficult to get parking at this branch or at green street. I only liked the bun kabab from the items I had.
