Gluten free scone was delightful, great that it’s available on demand and of a great quality, as gluten free bread products are hard to perfect. Plenty of jam and cream on the side. I had a chocolate milkshake which wasn’t great, could do with a little more chocolate flavour.

Conveniently located, parking very close by.
Amazing food, cute intimate space which is so well set up in keeping with the Alice in Wonderland theme, starting with the entire decor to the sales of AiW memorabilia.
Staff are courteous.

The famous Mad Hatter tea rooms is based on the Alice in Wonderland theme.
I had to visit as I had last been here with my parents and grandparents as a kid.
The sandwich I had was fresh and tasty.
It was just a trip down memory lane for personal reasons.
It’s a compact place and great for bringing young kids.
Good service and friendly. Clean and easy parking nearby.

Very lovely place for a pot of tea and a yummy Birtish Experience. We traveled from Utah USA to enjoy tea with our good friends BigPhil, Wendy and my wife. It was a great time.

Delicious and fresh afternoon tea with great service. The scones were so good and the cakes very tasty. The backyard on a sunny day is fab.
Thank you we will be back!

A beautiful small tea room with an Alice in Wonderland theme. We had a bacon and brie Panini with a pot of tea and a home made scone with cream and jam to finish.
The food was fantastic and the scone was the best I've ever tasted.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend visiting this lovely tea room if you're in town.

Pros: beautiful home made scones, nicely decorated and themed tearoom, friendly staff.

Cons: it's only a small tearoom so not a huge amount of seating inside.

Very tasty and pleasant meal! Every dish we ordered was wonderful (especially the dirty fries!!). The lemon cheesecake and honeycomb cheese cake is by far the best I’ve ever had!
It’s definitely worth walking a little further up the high street.
