A lovely little tea rooms with lots of character. We stopped off for a quick coffee which was great, it was a shame we didn't have time for some of the cakes as they looked amazing!

The perfect place to stop for tea and cake on our drive home from the Peak District. We found this lovely café by chance and we're so pleased we did! A super friendly welcome from the ladies who work there, plenty of comfortable seating and delicious food. Love the tea served in a proper china teapot and pretty cups and saucers, and my son gave the milkshake a big thumbs up! We will return.

Went for afternoon tea here it was well worth it the food was great and the service was excellent lovely place for a treat there were many paintings on the walls for you to browse and to buy. Can wait to be able to go back. £16.50 was excellent price.

I found this little place by chance, and I'm glad I did. It was lovely find, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The cakes appeared to have been made locally, possibly on site - I can recommend the bakewell tart. The only downside is that I don't live close by; if I return to the area then I'll look forward to stopping there again.

Jane and her team are very welcoming plus the food is excellent. I had a healthy all day breakfast and my friend had the home made carrot and coriander soup, both were delicious. Next time I go , if its on the special board, I would love to try the home made lobby with a baggutte to dip in.

Glorious home cooked food, friendly staff and quick service. It was my first visit here despite living in the village for a few years! I will definitely return. We had a lovely lunch. It was great to see lobby on the menu and was the winter warmer I needed today. My aunt had the jacket potato and my dad had the English breakfast. I would definitely recommend to others.

There were breakfast , lunch and afternoon tea menus. Home cooked food.
We arrived at 11.30 and the breakfasts looked good.
Room decorated with local artists work and local historical information.
Pleased we called in for a cuppa.
