Met up with a friend for a light lunch. Very impressed with the venue. Light and airy, clean, nice atmosphere. Great service, attentive without being overbearing. We both had toasted sandwiches, they were well-filled and cooked nicely. Very tasty. My friend had a strawberry milkshake (I may have stolen some….), it was great, good flavour of strawberries and not too heavy.

Overall, really impressed with this place. I’d recommend it as a great place to meet for coffee and a light lunch.

Friendly little tea room with table service inside or self service outside. Loose leaf tea is always a plus. We also ordered a cheeky waffle which was delicious!

My son and his partner live locally and enjoy visiting Eliza's regularly. I have been with them two or three times and was impressed by the service and quality of the food. On the most recent occasion, my son and his partner had egg mayo sandwiches but I just wanted something small and enjoyed a chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. The waitress service is friendly and efficient. Outdoor seating is available as well as indoor. There is a ladies toilet but you have to ask for the key at the counter. Recommended!

Always live popping in here. The staff always greet you with a warm welcome and the food is wonderful. Just wished they opened a little earlier than 10am. Not a major thing though.

Such a shame this place is unable to cook an egg or piece of bacon after 12. If you are looking for a late (after 12!!) lunch or brunch there is very little choice. Clearly not heard of the most popular dish of the moment - avocado WITH EGGS! Still the lovely pub round the corner does hot food all day.

This was my grandmother's favourite tea room, and coming here makes it feel like she's still with us, a cup of tea in hand and a warm smile on her face! The team are the kindest and most personable people you could ever encounter.

I'd recommend a cup of tea and a sausage roll whilst doing today's Wordle!
