Bygones Tea Room is one of the best tea rooms I've ever been too as of yet. Bygones happily rivals many tea rooms in Covent Garden by my standards. Their Eggs Benedict was marvellous, and their selection of cakes, teas and soft drinks/juices was also fantastic.

The atmosphere is brilliantly in tune with an older & more classic Britain, a mix of comfort and appreciation of history has expertly been crafted here. I have visited a few times and will be doing so much more in the future.

Very nice/quirky/retro style tea room with loads of old fashioned British memorabilia decorating the room. Service was very prompt. Coffee and food very tasty

The best cafe in the area service is excellent. Food is perfect and tasty, chips are amazing more snack based food is needed on the menu please 🙏. The setting and atmosphere is calm and interesting the artifacts of a bygone era are a lovely talking point. I love it and have met friends and family younger and older here and they all love it too. Well done to all of the staff and owners.

First time visiting Keele. Found this lovely little tea room in 1950s style. Adored the high ceilings and collection of 1950s memorabilia. The music fitted perfectly with the environment.
We had the afternoon tea, which was deliciously filling. The cake was so tasty I bought extra to take home 😋. Wonderful selection of freshly baked cakes 🍰.
Service was excellent too. The staff were all very friendly and helpful ⭐

A really welcoming and pleasant cafe. I have visited a few times for breakfast and lunch. The 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s bits and pieces around the cafe are really fascinating talking points. The food is enjoyable, always hot and plentiful and very well cooked. This is well worth a stop off if you are in town and you get plenty for your money. The staff are attentive and polite and it is clear there are lots of regular customers. Bygones really is well worth a visit.

Been here twice before for Brunch and fancied trying Afternoon Tea. Went for the £20 per person option and took my cousin. Absolutely gorgeous afternoon, plenty of food, all freshly prepared and plenty of tea to drink. Good ratio of savoury and sweet. I can't eat milk chocolate and they were very accommodating, swapping it for white chocolate. Staff were very attentive and gave us boxes to bring home what we couldn't manage to eat. Would definitely recommend.
