Love going to nutshells. Good food. Good coffee and tea. Gill and Ian are a lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble for them. Fantastic sausage rolls. Good idea to book for lunch because it is very popular and quite rightly too!!!! If you are a wheelchair user you will have no problems here.

I must say that we were looking forward to trying our local cafe.
We lunch out on a weekly basis and really fancied an afternoon tea. Homemade cakes and sandwiches.

Unfortunately we were unable to have this as you need to pre book, this was not on their website so we were a little disappointed. But thought let’s try the food.

I enjoyed a good coffee and massive jacket potato, they were very kind and made my autistic daughter cheese on toast with beans on top, which was not on the menu which I thought was lovely.

My friend had a egg sandwich which was delicious but when she found a hair she was unable to eat the rest. The staff were understanding about this and took it of the bill.

We must of seemed like a pain but I did appreciate how we were looked after until the end when we were made to feel very uncomfortable and was told they will not cater to my daughters needs again. Cheese on toast is not on the menu and we will not do it again.

Wasn’t sure if we upset them or they just had enough of us. It is very difficult to take my daughter out and I felt very upset when we left.
We will not be going there again

Wonderful food and friendly staff! Nothing was to much, can't wait to return. My little 10 month old loved the cafe dog's x

Lovely welcoming Tea Room. Food is delicious and a good selection to choose from. Staff are friendly, helpful and the environment is warm and inviting. Lots of produce to potentially buy and a nice gift shop attached. My daughter judges all bacon butties on the ones she eats here. So far none are at the same level 🙂

We had a small wedding lunch on the 31st July , bring awkward we had ordered afternoon tea for lunch , this was the only place who would accept that as everyone else said no afternoon tea until 2pm.
The food was delicious , lots of fresh sandwiches , fruit scones with clotted cream and jam , cheese scones with caramelised onion chutney , brownies , lemon cake, fruit loaf etc.
The couple who run the business were lovely and took time to congratulate the newly weds.
Happily provided doggy boxes so nothing was wasted.
This is a little gem tucked away in an awesome gift shop , well worth a visit , highly recommended

What a little gem.. This is the best tea room I have been to. Definitely going back as the home made lemon and thyme cake was to die for. If you are ever in the stowupland area, stop in and have a cup of tea and cake 🎂 it's superb. They also have a craft store with some amazing and unusual items.

Very surprised how popular this wee treasure is. We struggled to park!! The table was reserved for us and the Country Tea was plentiful and all very nice ! Very busy wee venue but the standards remain high despite being busy.
Only concern was that no windows were open

Love this place only 10mins from where we live. Staff are really friendly, coffee is really good and food is delicious (we are gluten free). There is also a lovely shop where you can buy local produce. We are regulars here and this place can't be beaten for its friendly atmosphere.
