I was told all tables fully booked and was sat at the bar for that reason. At the end of my meal place was still empty. Food and service were average. Great location and a beautiful place, but for London way under par.

Had a fantastic time with my mum yesterday. The entire place was great, and the ambiance is top notch. All the staff who attended us were lovely. Shout out to Marco for the wonderful service!

Had a great anniversary meal yesterday with my wife . What made it special was our waiter Samir, he went above and beyond to look after us and select some decent wine to go with our meals .
I had the steak and my wife had the pan fried fish … both awesome choices and perfectly cooked .

My first Fortnum and Mason's Afternoon Tea was exquisite! I wanted to spoil a good friend for her birthday and she also loved it. Thanks Ryan and the team. It's great for visitors because the setting of The Royal Exchange is iconic and great for photos and creating happy memories. Thank you everyone for a wonderful experience.

Fabulous experience. We were bought the 3 course dinner and the afternoon tea as a wedding gift.

We had evening tea at around 6pm weekday, nice quiet and chilled vibe. The seating and ambiance is simply beautiful in this amazing building. Loves the pastel blue against chrome and dim lighting gives a very classy feel.

Scotch egg is a must for starter. Being their signature. However, the salmon was superb also. Sea bream for main on crushed potatoes was the highlight for me and followed by a chocolate ganache dessert. I could taste everything in my food. As someone with intolerances this is brilliant to be able to have without and actually taste the food elements you are eating.

We were served a cocktail to begin and then I ordered additional on the menu The Pleasure Garden. This was such a clean cocktail was super light and refreshing after dinner.

We had afternoon tea the day after. Unfortunately I am not a fan as it can sometimes be rather difficult avoiding certain food. None the less it was beautiful and tasty I just wish I had made clear before hand on booking my intolerances.

I had a sencha tea which was beautifully balanced and a sparkling tea which I have never had... Has now become my fav non alcoholic drink as looks like champagne but tastes 1000% better... This will be at my Christmas table.

Highly recommend a visit at least a once in your life place to go and enjoy a drink.

We had a delightful 3 course meal with cocktails at the F&M in The Royal Exchange. It was a bitterly cold evening, but the ambience and excellent food were an equitable balance. We tried a Royal Kir and The Pleasure Garden cocktails; both nice and refreshing. For starters we had Scotch Egg a la F&M and a Bone Broth with pork dumpling- very good. For mains we had Sirloin steak and Brixham cod, both served with hand cut chips and good very delicious. Finally for dessert we had sticky Toffee pudding with clotted cream and a Dusty Road sundae (coffee and chocolate ice cream, and the rest) - a great way to round of a meal. Highly recommended 👌

Beautiful building and location. Afternoon tea was average. Sandwiches slightly dry (as if prepared hours before and left open to harden). Scones were okay, have had better heated in the microwave from Sainsbury's. I don't think the price point matches the experience you have.

Fantastic location. For drinks only, you have to sit at the bar but that is absolutely fine. The bar stools are very solid and give the impression that they are bolted to the floor but they are not - which is great. You can slide it out a bit which in my case is necessary since I’m
6 feet tall. All in all a fantastic venue and highly recommended
