A brilliant facility that really can offer many different choices to young people. Worthy of an award for design this is an inspirational place. Loads of parking available

Very poor higher education experience, teachers not engaging and lead by awful management.

Workshops (further education) is better with more engaging teachers.

Very high staff turnover.

Big airy college, lovely building, if you want to go to college, there are few better buildings to do it in.

Best two years of my life, there were some questionable teaching techniques but overall it was down the student to get the grades. The only thing I found particularly frustrating was the shocking marking system which led to endless re-subs, but overall we had a lot of fun and there was a fairly chill attitude towards learning which I really enjoyed and I now have have a good apprenticeship. I did have to re do the the whole lot from level 2 due to it being a BTEC. And I was then going onto do NVQ. (Not compatible) so technically lost 2 years but it did open doors for me as it shows you are committed and interested in engineering. If you are bright enough and are likeable you can go straight into NVQ and I would recommend not going to WCG all together. Make sure you at least get MMM grade if you do go to WCG And smash the year 2 project. Employers loved mine. I did nothing in the first year and then pushed the limits in the second to achieve the grades. Got DMM. Far better than Leam college and co op is down the road which is good for lunch. Overall the college did what was intended and I would go there again but some of the staff do need get a little better on delivery of subjects and not be such difficult markers. But would recommend this over uni route.
